    Whats with all the negative comments? cant you appreciate that he's making the effort to pass on some knowledge (which a lot of people have actually learned something from) and that although not to everyone's taste, skill level or way of thinking, you have to criticize!!
    if you don't like it, don't watch it! Do something constructive and make your own video, instead of trying to put down someone who's just trying to help.
    keep up the good work!!

    • @red6833
      @red6833 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Exactly! I could never understand people who would come here and criticise forgetting that some other people are a predicative of the effort that has been put into it and shared for free.

      Agree 100%.
      Question: Is being jerk A-hole a learned or genetic behavior? I'm thinking it might actually be genetic.
      I have often found that a jerk A-hole are generally part of a whole family of jerk A-holes.
      As the saying goes, the nut does not fall from the tree.

    I never understood why people love to downplay someone , when they are doing something good, this is not a competition, who cares if you are a professional or not, it's not about that, the man is teaching his style to help out those that are able to understand and it's helps them ( that individual. I wish people with that mind type , will focus on wht they can do to help people , not down the next person for amaking it happen. its' not hurting you or doing anything to you, so why leave negative comments to this person, whose only trying to help others. if you don't like it , click next. keep of moving. I guaranteed you probably miserable at some point in your life, cause a person who has a great life and beautiful hearts ONLY encourage others and be happy for them, NOT JEALOUSY.. probably don't have God in your life either, God is God of love, not hatred not spitefulness. in stead of down playing this man , be happy he is helping others. I love the way he teaches , cause its understable. and he has great patient. what can you teach? people how to hate and be spiteful. reason I say that because if you doing it ,you will teach others the same thing. second thought don't make a video, first change your nasty heart, then come back and do your thing. I just came across your video , I say . it s' wonderful I learn inversion and you made it much easier than I seem on youtube, keep up the good works. don't let the devil discourage you, because that is what his job is... 24/7. But the devil is a lier.!!! you much appreciated. you need make cds and sale them. if not already.... just suggestion!

    Hey Mark,
    I'm nearly fifty and always believed piano was a skill too complicated for me. I bought a keyboard and a book of kids songs and have 'mastered' them but you know who wants to impress people with The Bear Went Over The Mountain? So I have just watched this video and have seen a whole new world opening up - thanks for all the effort in helping strangers and for a great teaching style.

    Nothing better than a simple formula if it works... Will test it out! Chart above gives clues and when letters 🔤🔠 ✅🔠 NAMED when played this is helpful , especially, when chords and keynotes LIGHT 🕯️ UP to follow along with!!! Need to test it all out first. 🥇✅✅🥇. Just don't rush the lessons... Beginners like an easy slow pace!!

    Good teaching voice great lesson
    The problem with music is that people tend to get lost in a forest of notes.
    You break it down into understandable parts that completely make sense. It also immediately explains what inversions are and why they are used. You have no idea how long it took me to find a normal easy and simple explanation. This immediately helps me.
    I used to find chords on what sounded good and not having a clue what they were. It also explains why my chords started to sound to high. As I was not aware of the inversions.

    Oh, just great! As a beginner @ 70yo and having watched and studied 100s of videos and practice on my keyboard, I get an Inversion thrown in! Then find out there are 109 variations of that! Now I understand why musicians take up other Instruments! First time I have ever heard of this! Almost pursuaded to purchase my instrument and learn by ear and advance as I go! I know now that as soon as I learn the current choices, somebody will inject something beyond that. Think I am loosing before I can get ahead with this piano stuff!

    • @Marks_Piano
      @Marks_Piano  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Ronald, I think you are overreacting a bit, sure there are a few variations but that's saying like, I just thought I knew how to drive a car, and now it turns out that there are 90 different degrees of left hand turns, and another 90 degrees of right hand turns. It's kind of like, if you know how to turn a wheel, you can make almost any corner. Same with inversions, if you know the basic principle of an inversion it's easy a pie. p.s. Sir, what's the other finger placement version for G? I understand it now. For C, you used the G-C-E combination. How about for G Sir? The common one is G-B-D but if you have huge fingers, it's hard to do it.
