The new Three Blind Mice saga combined with Yenna Redtooth is an incredible add to Tommy B. You can create so many copies of sagas for any answer you need!
It was cool to finally see Matt rocking the Tom Bombadil I've heard so much of on the EDHRecast. It's quite a unique list for sure, would love to see him do a deck tech at some point to go over the changes he's made to it :)
That Sliver deck is monumentally strong despite the tapland heavy mana base! I hope I can tinker together an amazing Sliver deck at some point to do similar silliness when I get together to play some Commander.
I used to have a choices deck! It was Dustin, Gadget Genius and Will the Wise. Almost every card made someone make a choice. It was a ton of fun to play and the deck I got the most compliments on when playing on spelltable. But back to the video!

40:30 I had the same feeling when I cast Harsh Mercy Eilidh, I'm like "wait, this kills almost nothing, this comes out asap" and I took it out as soon as I got home. 43:00 the thirst for Karlach is real. I'm surprised Shadowheart, Dark Justicier didn't go up as well, but that card isn't as good as Karlach, but it is a decent build around though. 53:00 this turn here was all wrong, you do realize all your slivers have flash right? why not wait to cast them until Olivia comes back? cast them in her turn then you destroy a bunch of her things :) That said, I'm guilty of this too, I play things that give me flash and I just don't play that way.
When I saw slivers were being played, I said, "Ew, gross." When she was playing them out and started snowballing towards victory, I said, "Ew, gross." When she killed literally everyone else by herself... I said, "That's why slivers are gross."
Playing slivers is like playing Street Fighter II with a turbo controller and all the cheat codes turned on. Just close your eyes, mash a couple butons.... and victory.
IDK about anyone else but I feel likes its bad faith for George to rewind time to before combat to cast his Kolaghans Command. He should have responded when she said she was going to combat...Thats one of my biggest pet peeves when people try to respond to something After the chance they had to do it.
12:20 - just for my own understanding, my impression is the Saga is a static effect for the turn, so creatures coming into play after it is cast are -2/-0 for the turn as well, right? Or does it work differently because of hiw Sagas work or something?

Oh, and can Olivia whisper some sweet nothings into Gavin's ear about reprinting Slivers that actually look like Slivers from this precon (Sentinel, Syphon, Venom, etc etc) in a proper set so we get them in foil and finally wave goodbye to those horrid abominations they released in m14 🙏
