You can tell NetEase took a lot of inspiration from Warframe for Destiny: Rising, from the survival-like gamemodes to even the customizable clan rooms. If the game is as good as it looks, well done, NetEase.
Destiny Rising is actually really well done and Bungie NEEDS to look at what Rising did right. Not May want to, they NEED TO. I feel like this alpha has had playtime higher than D2.
I can confirm that the game is surprisingly fun, but that could also be because the micro transactions are disabled for the alpha. Here's hoping they don't ruin the progression when it officially releases. I can say though that I wish Bungie was even half as ambitious as netease, because some of the ideas/activities in this game are really cool
I play my fair of gacha so I will say this to people who are new to games like this. So ADVICE take your time when leveling up, you are not meant to completely level up someone up right away. Not like D2 or 1 where you can just grind for a week ish and be up to the level cap, or for the gun you want. Since it’s a gacha AND a live service game, it’ll be a longer grind. I’ll edit this if i find out it’s not as grindy but cause it has an energy system you will be time gated getting items.
People complaining about the gacha stamina system don't realize that we basically already have that in Destiny 2 proper... it's just that it's a once per week lockout per character for pinnacle rewards. In Rising, you can use your pinnacles in any activity you see fit. If you only want to do PvE then spend all your pinnacles on PvE and don't force yourself to play PvP to get every pinnacle opportunity. In D2, if you want to be on top of your game, you need to: play dungeons, play raids, play trials, play nightfalls, the seasonal content playlist, pathfinder... etc, etc. The stamina system lets you have flexibility with what you want to play, especially when you know more about who exactly you want to build. You can literally just dump all your pinnacle energy without touching content you don't want to run or have the time for. Setting and story is to taste, so if you don't like it, I wouldn't hold it against you if you stopped playing from that alone. The only objective negative this game has is that it is indeed a gacha acquisition system for characters, but at the very least, the baseline 4* characters actually play pretty damn well because they do unique things rather than how D2 handles it with subclasses now feeling more homogenous (even more so that Prismatic exists).
Soo since people can buy stuff to customize their house in the game is it possible to get a Mara Sov “Love doll” for my house in destiny rising??👀 asking for my friend..
I get wanting to see new stuff in D2, but I also realize NetEase has no constraints because they are building from ground up with heavy monetization. Would the D2 fanbase pay extra for these new modes/features? That'd be a conversation to have. Right now, I'm skeptical that the community of players who hammered Bungie so hard on any type of monetization will happily play a game with pay-to-win aspects (especially with PvP) and activities/bosses locked behind particular weapons/chars when there's a wait/pay-to-refill energy system. But who knows. We're hungry for more Destiny content. Can never tell.
destiny 2 has paid seasons and Major DLCS. They already make enough money hand over fist if you account for the eververse store. Its pure laziness that we get nothing new in D2 and Bungie should be ashamed that other Devs Do Destiny better
@@retrofuturistJL I don't think energy systems and pay-to-win weapons/characters with PvP is doing it better, but that's personal opinion. What you said is what has always been said by a vocal part of the community. Which is why I don't see them making these sweeping additions (like customizable clan houses) or fully rebalancing the sandboxes for a weapon class above Exotic. They're always playing with game modes so that's possible. The attitude (and I'm not saying it's right or wrong) about monetization is also why I wouldn't think a NetEase gacha game is a good fit for this community. But I guess we'll see. I watched some D2 community folks drop $50-200 a week on First Descendant. Won't be me, but who knows how it lands.
Let's hope they don't put this in destiny 2 but rather destiny 3 cramming all this stuff in a 10 year old game is pointless. They need to learn from this in order to create a new game worth celebrating and playing.
Dude, it's going to be like 8-10 years until we get a proper Destiny 3 which means Destiny 2 will be dead for all those years. I really don't think people would wait that long for a new Destiny game lol
the reason we dont hear more of it is that during closed testing, netease is *obviously* handing out energy and premium currency like candy. they don't have a use for testers that dont stick around after all! i fully expect energy and ESPECIALLY the premium currency to become much more difficult to keep a stockpile of once the game properly launches. though they were smart and made everything "playable" without energy (you just won't get the better rewards), just so they can have a "FREE TO PLAY BY THE WAY" playerbase as well.
@@thatoneguy2274this is like a weird “got ya” comment that says like almost nothing that isn’t common knowledge. No beef, just found it really funny to read lol
Gacha system is definitely a bad practice, but the energy system is actually better than what we have for Destiny 2. In Destiny 2, all our pinnacles are locked to content once per week and probably for content you don't wanna run. Two dungeons this week are featured that you don't like to run? Well fuck you I guess? Don't wanna run the seasonal arena/playlist because you are burnt out on it, welp there goes your pinnacle drop for that week. The energy system actually lets you target the specific activities you want and make them pinnacle drops, which Bungie should actually incorporate.
Most Chinese games are built around stealing ideas from others. Just like everything out of China. Their cars, military tech, games, on and on. Stolen ideas, stolen tech, stolen IPs. All the while they pad their numbers with paid bots and inflate praise with paid troll farms. China is DESPERATE to be seen as a country comparable to the West.
I love the mobile side of destiny, but there is so much to take in. There’s so many different activities and I feel like there’s never enough real people to play. I know it’s alpha. I know we can get bots, but it just feels like they need to cut back on how many activities there are and how many, currencies are in the game
Give me that Mythic engram. A leveling activity to make my armour stat so that it can be maxed out at base 68 then another activity to make it artifice. SRL would be hugely popular. Give us those hyper boost raid sparrows in D2. Instead of 3by3 in our loadouts why not 4by4 or 5by5 if technically possible? We need more in Destiny and Bungie seems to be fine giving us barely anything.
Pretty much Destiny Rising would probably cause everyone to abandon Destiny 2 for it if it wasn't a mobile game with the piss poor monetization of a NetEase game.

Brother what. They are completely different games with nothing remotely in common. Unless you mean learn how monster hunter improves from game to game, which can be said for any game lol
@@redblue4127 lol brother I'm talking about the solo to team play scalers on everything, how you can farm materials without farming materials, having your own base and a train ground and can pre-save and swap through 100's of builds, amazing weapon and armor skins that are all obtainable in game also mainly how there are never any restrictions to what and how you play like what corny champ mods or something where one build like welllock being above and beyond the best build for something does
I mean... Have you heard of Monster Hunter Outlanders? xD And I also think Warframe is closer to MH in that regard with the focus on loadouts and materials to craft equipment. Even in Warframe, you have your own base and such with stations that contribute to your progression. I don't really think a material grind works for Destiny 2 anymore, and the gameplay is a bit too different. I think Destiny 2 should actually follow Warframe on the quality of life/cosmetics side of things that you mentioned here since the two games are closer in genre.
Astonishing that bungie let them use their IP before Sony. Why hasn't their parent company hired on more people to help with D2 like Activision did with Vicarious Visions???
I wish this game never even got created and they put all their effort and new ideas into Destiny 2. It’s an actual joke that they let a mobile game have ideas like trading in game but destiny 2 could never…
I like destiny. I hate how Bungie runs it. NetEase showed how Destiny could have been ran if the team was passionate and willing to put forth unique ideas and innovations. I would NOT mind if this game comes to console or PC as gacha (which I believe they could be very generous in). Regardless, Bunige needs to do better, and as a community we need to want more from Bungie.
make them learn from monster hunter and not some gacha game imagine lol the monetization could be even worse "oh wanna solo the new dungeon? just pay for the lootbox for a chance to get the 5 star class thats good on that dungeon
Community went from "No one wants this" to "why cant D2 have all this" it only proves Bungie hates you, hates D2, but loves your money. It's time to give up on this shell of a franchise.
I feel like destiny players are having a honeymoon phase on a beta of a gacha game, those feelings are going to be real different once the monetization hits that game.

That raid system is interesting! Do you need to complete all the raid encounters at once? Raiding is tough when you got little ones.
This game is going to make so much money for Pete...
Why does this have so many things that would make D2 amazing
Ngl i just want the customization and abilities to come to d2
I've been farming shadowshaper duels im rank 18 rn 😅
Let's hope they don't put this in destiny 2 but rather destiny 3 cramming all this stuff in a 10 year old game is pointless. They need to learn from this in order to create a new game worth celebrating and playing.
Hahahaha, oh boy. This is bungocorpse we're talking about here.
Dude, it's going to be like 8-10 years until we get a proper Destiny 3 which means Destiny 2 will be dead for all those years. I really don't think people would wait that long for a new Destiny game lol
Unless Marathon and frontier failed, there will not be a Destiny 3. But if both of them failed, there is no bungie any more.
I really need that Scythe Void Ult in Destiny 2..
I’m just waiting for the day I can play as Mara Sov
You know for an alpha, they have so much stuff to do this is ridiculous. And they allow us to play on an emulator to play it on pc is super nice
Soon as I heard “gacha” and “energy” is when you lost me. Fuck this game.
Yep. Nope. My willpower is not strong enough for that type of model. Hard pass from me
the reason we dont hear more of it is that during closed testing, netease is *obviously* handing out energy and premium currency like candy.
they don't have a use for testers that dont stick around after all!
i fully expect energy and ESPECIALLY the premium currency to become much more difficult to keep a stockpile of once the game properly launches.
though they were smart and made everything "playable" without energy (you just won't get the better rewards), just so they can have a "FREE TO PLAY BY THE WAY" playerbase as well.
@@thatoneguy2274this is like a weird “got ya” comment that says like almost nothing that isn’t common knowledge. No beef, just found it really funny to read lol
Eh. It's scummy for sure but as a toilet-sitting game it's pretty aight.
I really hope there wanting a “you are not allowed to take things from the mobile game and put it into the base game” in that deal 😢
Best of all, Destiny Rising doesn’t remove its story
Jade Rabbit in Rising? Sold!
That warlock scythe super is literally ripped from the mmo black desert sorcerer class. It’s a 1 for 1 copy lmao
Morgan’s Prey sounds like gambit with extra steps
Not really, you aren't banking anything. Just kill enemies for points and get more points if you kill them a certain way
Shifting Gates is the Gambit 3.0
Give me that Mythic engram. A leveling activity to make my armour stat so that it can be maxed out at base 68 then another activity to make it artifice. SRL would be hugely popular. Give us those hyper boost raid sparrows in D2. Instead of 3by3 in our loadouts why not 4by4 or 5by5 if technically possible? We need more in Destiny and Bungie seems to be fine giving us barely anything.
Can I use a glaive tho
I just want SLR back. Please bungie #BringBackSRL
Friday night drinking game, take a shot Everytime cross says "mobile game"
this NEEDS to be put on PC brother
Pretty much Destiny Rising would probably cause everyone to abandon Destiny 2 for it if it wasn't a mobile game with the piss poor monetization of a NetEase game.
The Social Aspect of Rising is the only thing Destiny 2 needs
3:38 Exotic instead of Exoctic
I will play once they add my boy shaxx as a playable character
(Unless he is already in and I haven't seen)
I want Destiny Rising in consoles… my phone is bad and my fingers hurts playing on the screen .. can you guys helping me ask the devs for a console/pc port ?? I feel so ignored on twitter sometimes 😞😭
Just connect a ps or Xbox controller via Bluetooth
@ yeah but my phone is really bad and old .. Literally can’t run this game .. maybe i won’t be able to play it then 😞
@@VonCheshire oh well, get a better phone. This thing can run on potatoes
@@retrofuturistJL you guys really don’t read before commenting?? …
The devs said they will make a PC launcher if people ask for it... So keep asking for it and we might get one.
i want us to be able to Raise Ahamkara Whims (hatchlings), that be cool, considering we got what is left over of Rivens uncorrupted eggs
1:53 this is not correct. This isn't before the golden age, it's right after the collapse.
I rather destiny learn from Monster Hunter
My man
@cristianalfonso7594 it's peak gaming and a cut scene of mara sov making me an outrageous plate of something only Luffy could eat before a raid would be cool too lol
Brother what. They are completely different games with nothing remotely in common. Unless you mean learn how monster hunter improves from game to game, which can be said for any game lol
@@redblue4127 lol brother I'm talking about the solo to team play scalers on everything, how you can farm materials without farming materials, having your own base and a train ground and can pre-save and swap through 100's of builds, amazing weapon and armor skins that are all obtainable in game also mainly how there are never any restrictions to what and how you play like what corny champ mods or something where one build like welllock being above and beyond the best build for something does
I mean... Have you heard of Monster Hunter Outlanders? xD
And I also think Warframe is closer to MH in that regard with the focus on loadouts and materials to craft equipment. Even in Warframe, you have your own base and such with stations that contribute to your progression. I don't really think a material grind works for Destiny 2 anymore, and the gameplay is a bit too different. I think Destiny 2 should actually follow Warframe on the quality of life/cosmetics side of things that you mentioned here since the two games are closer in genre.
so mythic is like how legendary was originally designed
Astonishing that bungie let them use their IP before Sony. Why hasn't their parent company hired on more people to help with D2 like Activision did with Vicarious Visions???
I wish this game never even got created and they put all their effort and new ideas into Destiny 2. It’s an actual joke that they let a mobile game have ideas like trading in game but destiny 2 could never…
Cross should change the title of this video; this video is more like a giude to Destiny Rising
Ohh he changed the title, its better now
can u play it with a backbone?
This is what a D3 should be like
I like destiny.
Innovation in a Destiny game? Never heard of her.
Honestly I think gatcha systems should be illegal.
When does the game realesse
The alpha has been more like a beta & the bug report team responds back quickly. It probably won't be too far out.
Thanks
We need those 1000 Bugs fixed.
7:33 god DAMN
I asked to bring SRL back into Destiny. They did....
But in a mobile game....
Ngl once it drops im redownloading bluestacks and playing it.
They need to learn how to make new content instead of recycling stuff that we already paid for.
AMEN, if they did I wouldn't even care if they raise the price of seasonal content as long as I don't see so much old stuff
Ikora is famously known for using shotguns. Why on Earth did they give her grenade and rocket launchers?
Destiny 2 needs a kinetic super
make them learn from monster hunter and not some gacha game imagine lol the monetization could be even worse "oh wanna solo the new dungeon? just pay for the lootbox for a chance to get the 5 star class thats good on that dungeon
Community went from "No one wants this" to "why cant D2 have all this" it only proves Bungie hates you, hates D2, but loves your money. It's time to give up on this shell of a franchise.
Realm of the nine is just a simulated universe from hsr😭😭😭😭😭
Cross.. Let me interview you! Please
I feel like destiny players are having a honeymoon phase on a beta of a gacha game, those feelings are going to be real different once the monetization hits that game.
I wanna play this but 1. I dont got a good enough phone to play this and 2. I dont have a computer, butva steam deck i do have
My phone isn't the newest or best but it runs pretty decently
@strifenineteen the app store doesn't show the game for me to download
@thegoldenhat301 it's invite only alpha, you need to sign up and if they pick you then you get a code
I just wanna playyyyy
Im just now realising i beat you in pvp while my brother was on your team
Haven’t seen the video yet, but using GoT and The Boys as examples tells me ya didn’t really get it. I recommend reading the Boys comic, it has a different message from the show.
So the future was mobile..... amazing.
That's been the future of gaming for years now.
the AI voice acting is prob hiding the actual story to not spoil it for us.
Hell, yeah I have saying for a long time they should make it so you can use your other two characters in your fire team when you play solo, having them be AI controlled. It would make playing solo easier if you don't have or don't want other people. I'm anti social, so sue me. 😁
Totally agree, bungie I bet would be good at money laundering.
bungie needs to wake up man, theyve gotten way too comfortable just re heating leftovers every season. the fact that net ease has demonstrated so much more creativity with a mobile game alpha is laughable.
Hilarious watching Destiny players complain about Bungie monetizing a lot of stuff. Yet with Destiny Riding, you’re going to spend money for energy if you run out? 😂😂😂
Rouge is a colour.
