The kids in the concept art shown at 5:46 was actually part of an older game concept by Ohshima callled "Twin Stars". The concept for Twin Stars eventually evolved into Sonic the Hedgehog.
We found the 1997 Spaceworld demo of Pokémon Gold and Silver, which were in disposable flashcards back then. Hopefully we'll find the TGS build of Sonic 1 one day.
I feel like nobody talls about the sonic 1 demo that was found at the start of 2021 which us sad because that demo is really interesting, it nay not be the 1990 tokyo toy show demo but its very different from the fibal game. Majority of the zones past green hill were either half compkete or barely complete, the music was different slightly, kabyribth's level design was completely different, you got lives by getting 50 rings only instead of 100 which fun fact is still the case in the 8conic sonic 1 commercial. Very fascinating demo, imo

One thing I always imagined was for someone to recreate the Tokyo Toy Show demo game but with the unused rabbit mascot and other unused Sonic characters. It sounds like wishful thinking, but I genuinely think a lot of them were cool concepts.

Can we just look at the Neverseen again? That you can see the buildings and all, so I assume there was a plam to make a civilisation on South Island, so there was a plan to make a Mobians on Earth, but it gets cut for some reason.

Personnaly,I think we might see it get found,but deffinetly not soon since Sega can't find the original binary code of the beta. We will maybe find it one day,at least I hope. I've always wanted a Sonic collection to feature playable beta content but it'd probably be too unprecedented especially if the builds are unstable, if not playable at least have more historical content with dev commentary. (though I dont know what Origins offers since it scared me off with bugs and oversights) It was great growing up to see things like Sonic 2 betas and Sonic Crackers uncovered but again it'd be neat seeing them featured officially in a collection.
I am very curious about what marble zone,spring yard zone, labyrinth zone,starlight zone,and scarp brain zone might look like in the tokyo toy show demo for sonic 1 besides green hill zone
One interesting thing abt that rock monster, originally the concept for Sonic was that he would fight a lot of monsters. You can still find concept art of this if you look around a bit. Edit: Alternatively you can and should just check out the Sonic Wiki's page on Sonic 1, and specifically the Development section. It's got way more on this. Stuff I wasn't sure I remembered right, like the monsters being dream monsters in a Nightmare World, and stuff I didn't even know, like the fact these came from a game concept from before Sonic even, called Twin Stars.
I think that it will be a good idea if someone asks a person that was in the tokyo toy show event and played that demo, like, his (or her) experience, i know that it wont help on finding that demo, but idk

@shaulov10 I think it might happen in the upcoming year, Valve had a leak this year and I think Nintendo last year, so maybe in 2024 we'll finally see the ROM.

The Nintendo Gigaleak was actually in 2018, where a guy hacked into Nintendo to get early pokemon stuff. The Valve Megaleak was this year but it was material from the repo hoarded by a few people since 2016. Unless someone breaks into Sega and unless they have backups of all their earlier stuff, I doubt we will see anything.
