Translations like this is what I truly appreciate. They're not translating the lyrics directly, rather the context of the message and how it translates to the receiving audience, in a way that still fits the pacing of the original song. Of course, I'm not proficient in the Japanese language so I can only judge based on the translated English subtitles, but I trust that everything is correct and I really like how it was translated, similar to how much I liked the English cover for Plastic Love by Caitlin Myers.
Wonders of the music writing and arts. May we keep all the amazing ideas and the true music.
they only changed the lyrics but they still stick on the original arrangement of the song, It's like they also give respect to the band moonstar. and that's make it special
i head over to their about section and they say they are pinoy :)
Lll
Well thats how should translating be done.
Kura Kura, Guru Guruuuu!!~~
This is amazing!
Nice
Pa shout out naman idol cloco kahit dito lang hahaha
Bruh
Nanka waku waku
io mga idolo
I wish this japanese version could be use as soundtrack for anime movies. It so soothing and full of emotion.
Yeah like Puso by Sponge Cola. I love to hear it in an anime OS specially in Sports genre.
Japanese Drama would be a legit thing
dun sa mga junji ito kamo na anime
It would fall under Slice of life or Romantic genre of Animes.
Listening this like when I was in highschool, watching Clannad. Btw love this cover 💯🔥🔥
That NAHIHILO and NALILITO part. 😢
Very good rendition! So damn good to hear a local song covered by a band from another country, with their own language, and done as close to the original. ANG GALING! SUBARASHI!
Unfortunately mate, pinoy sila hehe.
Regardless, galing nila.
The are Filipino band, and miyuki who translate the lyrics is a fure Filipina
@@edgarallen8488 OOOOH. did not know that. pero regardless nga, swabe parin. di nawala yung feels and all. thanks for the info!
@@BischannelYT that perfectly explains it. haha. katuwa pa rin regardless. smooth e.
Geez this is very cool!!!❤❤ im obsessed in Japanese version na
This is absolutely amazing! As a filipino this Japanese cover version is spot on. Really captured the soul of the song.
Yes
Sau ako nagpipiano HAHAHAHA
The lyrics kinda feel extra painful than the original one tho.
syempre pinay yung kumanta icydk
Medyo iba yung translation pero understandable. Pag direct kasi...
Really love that they included "nahihilo, nalilito" at the end.
YES! It give me goosebumps, maji!
kala ko yung original na. hihihi
kinilig ako bigla
kala ko nga nahihiro at naririto :)
Yeah right I so liked it too sounded so epic :D
Lol yeah, that's the best part.
Nice! Respect for adding Nahihilo ... Nalilito ... Before the song ends 👏
They picked the right song to cover and translate to japanese. I love this band and song, and they did not disappoint, lovely 👏
Filipino and Japanese language are both syllabic. That's why the melody seems seamless.
Filipino dubs of anime openings from the 90's are a testament to this as well.
It really is nice to see it goes both ways. More ways to share culture from both countries.
Kaya maganda rin pakinggan yung mnl48 song na galing sa akb48 dahil madali lang ang syllables
@@uinventedwhat8975 Since Japanese first gained the consideration of linguists in the late 19th century, attempts have been made to show its genealogical relation to languages or language families such as Ainu, Korean, Chinese, Tibeto-Burman, Uralic, Altaic (or Ural-Altaic), Mon-Khmer and Malayo-Polynesian. At the fringe, some linguists have suggested a link to Indo-European languages, including Greek, and to Lepcha. Main modern theories try to link Japanese either to northern Asian languages, like Korean or the proposed larger Altaic family, or to various Southeast Asian languages, especially Austronesian.
-"NONE" of these proposals have gained wide acceptance (and the Altaic family itself is now considered controversial
Yeah. Thats why the filipino anime dubs fit so well, compared to english dubs
@@devvv4616 idiot Tagalog Dub fits on every language like Korean and English movies too! Its not about the language its about the Peoole behind the Work of Dubbing!
@@GameplayTubeYT ewan ko pero bka dahil sinakop tau ng japanese diba kaya medyo magka syllabic ung salita naten sa japan
Fun fact: "Guru guru" in Japanese sounds a lot like "gulong-gulo" in Filipino, which means very confused and frustrated (and the word "gulong" means wheel; so imagine being spun in a wheel--that's what that word means!). I just love that even unintentional stuff like that makes the song even more nuanced
wag kanapo mag over think ahhaha.
ぐるん (gurun) or ぐるんぐるん (gurun gurun) also is for a larger rotational motion. cool how they do sound essentially the same.
"Guruguru" (ぐるぐる/グルグル) is a Japanese onomatopoeia that means (turning) round and round/in circles (or wrapping/winding around).
Beautiful
@@janebaring3477 you don’t know how to use your brain 😂 when someone says something interesting you get confused and tell them to stop 🤣🤣🤣
Never imagined a japanese cover of one of my most favorite opm songs will be this good😲Props to you just earned a sub👏👏👏
This channel summoned the Filipino Community again.
Recommend singing"Ikaw lang"
Ganda ng pag-execute nung "nahihilo, nalilito..." sa dulo.
That’s Japanese onomatopoeia for you! 😉
omsim
Kaya nga eh,sobrang ganda at nakakabilib talaga, solid grabe!!
sympre, pinay din kasi yan. lahat sila pinoy
Lupet as in...
I like how they didn't change the arrangement. Migraine is already a great song as is and this Japanese version make it great even more
As a Filipino, I am speechless at how this is done. Super thumbs up! This is so fantastic!
tinatanong ba kung as a filipino ka?
@@ZeeXzee-xu8ubcommonsense tanga. Pinoy yung kanta ginawang japanese sympre mapapa comment tayon pinoy dito tangaka!
This band deserve more recognition than what they have right now. I hope one day you guys will come to Philippines and make concert just like one ok rock.
Fun fact: during the 90s, Filipino singers who've worked in Japan localized many Japanese songs and it became a hit here in the Philippines. a few examples are "Nais Ko" by Miguel Vera = "Goodbye Day" by Kisugi Takao, "Maghintay ka lamang" by Ted Ito = "Deep Sky" by Friends, i think Regine Velasquez also sang one and April Boy Regino have a couple songs as well.
I'm so ecstatic that we have come around and now Japanese Singers appreciate Filipino Songs.
Kena & Miyuki sugoi!
Pinoy dba sila?
Yes! Naalala ko may cassette tape kami ng Ikaw Pa Rin playing in Japanese language!
ones I remember are
Saigo no Iiwake -> Ikaw pa Rin
Itoshii no eri -> Eli my lab so swet
Manatsu no Kajitsu -> Isang tanong isang Sagot
Pure Filipino po si Miyuki, while Kena is Half Japanese and Half Filipino.
Willie Revillame has atleast two but I can't recall what song. :(
The only difference is the language itself. The best cover so far.
indeed that's why I also instantly liked it:)
I love this song
Agree!!

Hi Sir Kevin Manalo dating news reporter ng abs.😀
This moontar song is a master piece, the arangement is just really good, bass, guitar and drums are amazingly put together
Kena & Miyuki, awesome work! I love it! Thank you!
Migraine is my go-to karaoke song.
I bet I'll go KURA KURA GURU GURU all day
Guru guru 😆 ang kyot

Try mo un guru guru sa lawson oishi
in a way medyo hawig din sa tagalog ung guru guru, sounds like "gulong gulo/ gurung guru" - nalilito :D

Wow as a Hāfu, this is very heartwarming for me. 🇯🇵🇵🇭 🤘👏
half pinoy half askal more like
Japinoy/Japinay (male, female)
si Miyuki po ay 100% pinoy po pero N1 JLPT passer po sya.
as a half bombay half japanese bompanese
I am half korean and half hongkong. I am korekong
Grabe. I even got teary eyed when she started nahihilo, nalilito and her accent is good.
upon searching mukhang halfie ung vocals kaya siguro kuhang kuha

I wish this would become popular in Japan. Parang kanta lang sa anime, husay ng pagkaka-translate.
Im late by 1 year, stumbled upon this vid like 3 days ago, immediately liked the vibe and the way miyuki sang! Tbh this deserves more views! very underrated nya and i hope more people will discover this cover! much love you guys!
OMG!!! this is Sooo Perfeeect!!! thank you for covering this song!
Approved, this band is suited to translate Moonstar88 songs, lyrically and musically compatible, I daisuki them both.
What if they decided to make a rendition of Moonstar88's "Sulat" or "Torete"?
This song hits different in Japanese.. such a wonderful cover.. gayang gaya ni Miyuki yung timbre ng boses ni Maysh
Wow! Awesome version!❤️💐
*This is amazingly beautiful* damn I'd add this to my playlist thanks.
*Play it on valentine's day😌*
this deserves an 'aesthetic tokyo city' music video!!!!
agree
damn, they sang it perfectly like it wasn't translated, WOW!
You guys are amazing!!!
I love this! Thank you! More cover please!
This sounds like from a romantic Japanese movie.
I can picture out a Girl drinking late night all alone. 😅
now that you mention it, that surely is a scenario
Indeed 😂
Hahaha same here that's soo fit
Kahit naman sa pinoy version
it's fit to be a OST in Rent a girlfriend. or genri anime like slice of life or complicated romance
it doesn't matter if its Japanese or Filipino, you guys still capture the emotions of this legendary Friendzone song 😍😍😍
Well shit
Different languages different nations same friendzone

Wow, I absolutely love and enjoy this version!!! It definitely, captured the essence of the original song!!!
I never knew this existed. The essence of the song was there.

And this version is definitely gonna be in my playlist for the whole week.

"kimochi ga warui" is the best line. I felt the emotions so much.
her voice is so amazing spot on, wow moonstar88 will defenitely going crazy watching their song being translated to another language, they will be proud.😮
I love you guys! And I love this version, too! 🥰 Subbed!
I'm glad this cover didn't change the music too much or made it to a lullaby and what not. The last part where she sang in tagalog was just surprising. She nailed it. I didn't know how many times i played it now. I'm addicted to it
Mark my word , this will gonna go viral .
Sounds exactly the same like the original "migraine" filipino version just different language, love it. 🇵🇭❤️🇯🇵

More please 🥺 cover HUWAG NA HUWAG MONG SASABIHIN 💜
The last 2 words tho...
Ang galing! More from her, please!
Not to mention the band. They really got the original beat!
Beautiful song, the entrance words is smooth and so simple, getting goosebumps...
ima big fan now! more please!
this sounds like the main character of an anime is going through a relationship dilemma while walking in the rain
I love this version though, even if it's in a different language you can still feel the pain that the song wanted to convey and that's just beautiful 😭👏🏼
Yep. Like bitch sensei to karasuma sensei. Nurufufufu.
the girls is a teacher and the guy is a student
In the first place thats the message but not animated
can be like a music background of an anime movie love story...
Oh damn i can definitely picture that scene in an AMV
The time she said "Nahihilo, nalilito" at the end. Damn! Thank you for blessing my ears! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

I’m amazed with the translations because it didn’t change a thing with the original lyrics in Tagalog! It’s like, “Damn, so this is how translation works!”
