The handscale are the same size as the gouvernors but the gouverners have more leg movement than grourai as they don't have the skirt that gets in the way so they can lean forward more and reach the handles
That and the standard one (that apparently goes with this kit) are the only ones I've ever been able to snag. They go really well with big kits, and mines is currently piloting the lego UCS A-wing, and it looks perfect

You should try snagging up the Hexa gear Governor Monoceros. It's an awesome 4 armed samurai

Use a piece of aluminum rod. Wave makes some different sizes I think they’re called A-Line

You can probably force it but it definitely won't look to scale. FA Girls are approximately 1/12 scale and taller than the 1/144 gundam shown at10:47.
Yeah Megami device might fit but it would be a really tight squeeze. Kinda like the HG Gunpla on that goofy motorcycle option set they put out
