He might have just said that to AJ just to say it however in the first season he told Meadow he dropped out of College because he got into some trouble. Maybe this is it? I am not sure. Could be lying to both kids and really got accused in highschool.
When Livia says Tony got kicked out of school, she probably means he got suspended not expelled. Although Tony wasn’t a star student by any means and was a notorious troublemaker, he was still smart and a star athlete. AJ, on the other hand, was just dumb and threw away every good opportunity or privilege that came his way.
They dropped the ball, it should have been a 6 part mini series at minimum. They tried to do too much in too little time and the characters were so exaggerated, especially Ray Liotta as Hollywood. James Gandolfini's son actually being a good actor made this work so perfectly - it would've been impossible to find somebody to play that role as convincingly as James did, but Michael does it amazingly. I feel like every celebrity with kids uses their name to push their kids into acting or modeling, and only a tiny handful of them are actually talented (like seriously, when I look up a celebrity on IMDB, the vast majority of them are related to somebody else and it's obvious why they got where they are.). Michael Gandolfini is one of the very few exceptions though, and it's nice to get to see him carrying on his father's legacy in such an awesome way

that ending with the lady forshadowing chrissys death is crazy lol
Bcoz she was working the bon bon concession at the Eiffel tower
True tho
Was Livia maybe?
That's Aunt Concetta, the woman Livia allegedly mistook Meadow for in an episode in the first season.
Fun Fact: "Money (that's what I want)" performed by the Flying Lizards, released in 1979.
At 0:47, Nick Vallelonga is definitely going to reprise his father's role as Carmine Sr. I can't wait to see the rest of the Lupertazzi Family in this movie. At 1:02, everything from the black leather jacket, the signature hairdo, and the iconic scrunched-up face screamed Silvio Dante for me. Very excited for this.
Very observant, crimson chariot. The sacred AND the propane.
The timeline is so messed up Silvio is supposed to be the same age as Tony
@@battleb04n_43 I believe he is slightly older
An episode of sopranos Sylvio says to tony I’ve known you since you were a kid tone
If that be the case he sylvio would have said when we were kids
Just a theory ?
This is back in the times when Paulie Walnuts lived by the skin of his nuts... you know... when the Colombos were going at it!
duly noted
The Snake reigned
One last great performance by the legendary Ray Liotta.
RIP
Tony got expelled?
I thought he said to AJ
EVEN I MANAGED TO GET THROUGH SCHOOL WITHOUT GETTING EXPELLED
He’s being ACCUUUSED
I’m guessing if Tony was expelled, his mum made sure it didn’t stay that way
He might have just said that to AJ just to say it however in the first season he told Meadow he dropped out of College because he got into some trouble.
Maybe it’s a blessing
0:30 when Anthony says “I’m always being accussed” omg I so saw Tony Soprano in the quick moment
They dropped the ball, it should have been a 6 part mini series at minimum.
They tried to do too much in too little time and the characters were so exaggerated, especially Ray Liotta as Hollywood.
This movie was hard to watch, I honestly contemplated leaving after a little more than an hour.
I am saying this as a massive Sopranos fan who has watched the entire series at least three times.
I left an about 70 minutes not, I saw enough to come up with my conclusions on it. I saw literally no plot besides the black power movement. What a joke.
I need The Jacket scene 🧥
DUH JAAAAAAAACKET!
You're FLEXIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING
@@sirarthurfiggis You gonna cry now?
This movie had better be kicking up to *Borko* . He's taken care of Sopranos fans while this series has been away. He needs the money for his long term planning. #SilverBirdPackage
Borko wants 50g's?! 5 tops, maybe, as a finders fee.

@@JeepersCreepers12 Oh yeah? Maybe you're a flambe
Didnt Tony once said, when AJ got expelled, that even he managed to get through school without being expelled? Here we see he was.
Yeah true. Maybe he was just suspended and Livia is overdramatizing the situation as usual.
Can we really put it past Tony to lie about something to make a point
@@madeleinedesigns1976 Not-at-all. 😂
This should have been a series, but I’m not complaining I’ll take what I can get
man, just lift the entire cast wholesale and give us another six seasons of the Sopranos: The Early Years
I will lose it if there is a scene with uncle junior telling Tony’s girl cousins that he “didn’t have the makings of a varsity athlete.” 🤣😂
It was very hurtful.
Standard fare I hope along with the Bing beaver Bush boom
Oh! How good would that be!
THERE WAS!!! There literally was a scene with Junior telling the girl cousins.
@@arkwill14 and it was perfection!!!
I REALLY REALLY REALLY HOPE that Uncle June will grab Tony by the shoulder and say "You'll never have the makings of a varsity athlete."
He said it to his girl cousins. That was very hurtful.
To his girl cousins*
@@empac8631 I knew I was wrong upon something... thanks for correction buddy
Michael Gandolfini is one of the very few exceptions though, and it's nice to get to see him carrying on his father's legacy in such an awesome way
Man, little Tony Soprano is just like his dad in acting. "I'm always being accuuuused!"
Sounded exactly like Tony in the later seasons
I'm so happy James's kid is taking the roll it such a perfect fit oh madon
He seems like a nice kid too. Not the tortured soul his dad was.
This really throws off my sense of Chris’s age in sopranos.
We got some miscalculations according to uncle pats farm.
Yeah, if Tony died at 47, Chris was like what, 30?
@@sanben86 no lol if Chris was 10-12 at pats farm and tony and tony were 19???

Was really glad to hear from the David Chase Rolling Stone Interview this movie is NOT a origin story about just Tony Soprano. Yes, Tony is in it and his story is part of this movie but this movie is all about Dickie Montesanti. Super excited for this movie I trust David Chase since he wrote the movie! Looking forward to this by ALOT!
For A Second There I thought It Was Steven Van Zandt Himself !
Christopher was like "Don't let him pinch my nose!"
