I think it's important to encourage kids to pursue their dreams, even if they're impractical. No, every kid will not become a successful artist, but that doesn't the pursuit of those things is wasted time. The child learns that to do something well they must commit to it and work very hard. With that commitment they will experience some success, and some failure. Too many kids are discouraged by parents and teachers from pursuing the arts because 99% won't be successful. But that's not a good reason because THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH FAILING, only with not trying.
Or maybe it could be like your own version of "Before Sunrise". Ethan Hawke just shows up randomly in your life and you have a wonderful discussion where you talk about the meaning of life and you say goodbye, only for him to show up a couple years later and have another magical moment. and so on and so forth
I think he has a huge following and is well respected, he picks great and creative projects to work on. If him being underrated keeps him from starring in some disney/Pirates of the Caribbean part 8 then yes I would love for him to stay underrated hehe.
Off camera show with 46 year old River Phoenix would have been the most riveting interview one could have the pleasure to hear. River was deep for a 23 yr old, with the amazing list of movies he was most surely going to make, along with possible musical endeavors, River Phoenix was stolen from us
That is incredible. As I dive deeper into these acting videos on TH-cam, River's name pops up more and more often in places that I would least expect it. It's a bit like walking into a cave and finding your friend there. You don't know what he's doing there. You certainly didn't know he would be there or how he got there. But you're glad he's there. The knowledge of his presence gives you comfort.
