    They all seem to make good products at their price and performance category. Lots to choose from.

      Yeah I am now remained from another commenter here, about marantz stereo 70 which is also in direct competition. Definetly a lot of options. And good ones as well.

    I've had mine for about 2 years. Very happy with it. This was my first integrated, and I've been satisfied with the simplicity, looks & performance. Didn't even mind the Play-Fi app (used with Tidal). Hope this helps someone.

    You should also do 6000 and 7000cdt reviews. They are a worthy gear, and would love to hear your opinion on them.

      I did small review of 6000/7000 cdt, in my review of 9000cdt. I doubt soon that I will review 6000/7000 unless something changes, but both devices are great in their price range.

    Tremendous review. You are quickly becoming one of my favorites I have to say. You deliver detailed, informative and genuine reviews. And you dont fall under the spell of having to say everything is amazing. You give the pros and cons and you compare and contrast. Thank you for what you do. You rock my friend. May I ask one question. I have this audiolabs in my living room and love it. I wont get rid of it. I want another amp in my studio. Can you think of an amp under 2,500 US that has the same amazing soundstage and imaging but also offers better detail and dynamics? I know it’s more money but thats okay. Appreciate you.

    • @HIFIDaydreaming
      @HIFIDaydreaming  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This are really kind words man, I appriaciate you also. Well in that price range many amps have good soundstage and imaging. But if we exclude audiolab, i really loved what rotel did with soundstage. It is large in scope, but not airy as audiolab, it has lot of weight also and a great amount of power. The amp i am speaking is rotel ra 1572 mkii. You should try it including music fidelity 5 si, which is not a large as rotel in soundstage but it is incredibly fun amp too. This two you can demo and try. 🙂

    As alway, FANTASTIC video. As I've said before I have a 9000A with Dali Oberon 5s. At this moment I feel this is my 'endgame'. I will get a 9000cdt to replace my 7000cdt. But for me right now I feel the sound is perfect for me. I was contemplating a 9000p power amp (coming in Set/Oct?) but I do not think it is necessary for me.
    Keep well.

    • @HIFIDaydreaming
      @HIFIDaydreaming  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      9000p is more raw power, it is a great thing, but unnecessary currently if you are satisfied with your setup. Maybe sometimes in the future, when your ears are craving for more, you can upgrade but for now, just sit, relax and listen music. :)

    Thanks for this review. Kindly share Your thoughts on the difference between 6000a and 7000a only in terms of sound quality.

    • @HIFIDaydreaming
      @HIFIDaydreaming  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Uh that is not simple question, but i will try to explain it in as short as i can. Firstly of if you care about DSCs, 7000 have much better dac and there is no competition there. Sound wise, 7000 is better, but it just not justify such a jump in price. In my opinion, it is more clear and transperant and it have more details in treble. But sonic characteristics are different now, 6000 is more balanced so it is more easy listening amp, 7000 color the sound more, as it is more treble rich amp that extract more details, it is more "serious audiophile" gear that way, but it is not so smooth and easy as 6000. To me 6000 is a better price, but if you want better amp it is 7000. I hope this helps.

      @@HIFIDaydreaming Hi thanks for your detailed reply. Let's take DAC's out of the equation. I already have very good DAC's. Mojo 2, topping E70, topping E70 Velvet and Smsl D300. I just wanted to know, Using only the line level inputs is the 7000A a noticeable jump in sound quality compared to the 6000A. I don't like a very bright sound and prefer a smoother sound yet one that is very dynamic and musical. For example I love the Sound of My Rega Brio and Rega Elex MK4.

    • @HIFIDaydreaming
      @HIFIDaydreaming  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@agnelroshandsilva3929 jump is there, but not a big leap. Smoother is audiolab 6000a, but 7000is closer to rega sound. As like rega it has that treble which is more open and dynamic. If you like rega, 7000 is more for you.

      I don't have much expiriance with pro ject amps. I do like their turntables, and phono preamps, but never heard how their amps sound. Who knows maybe in future I might buy and listen to them, and there will be review. For now, my next review are of both phono box ds3 and tube box ds3. So you can expect that at least. 🙂

    • @HIFIDaydreaming
      @HIFIDaydreaming  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you can find S14 second hand, than that would be my choice. As it is a better amp/streamer but more expensive. Otherwise as value goes, it all depends on your needs which one of this two would be for you.

    Matantz stereo 70 could be the direct competitor of this with 25 more watts

    • @HIFIDaydreaming
      @HIFIDaydreaming  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Stereo 70 looks amazing, and sounds amazing on paper. I plan sometime in the future to maybe review it, it is in my sights. Just to accumulate funds to do so. And it is in its price range so it does truly makes direct competition to audiolab

    Which speakers did you like best with the audiolab?

    • @HIFIDaydreaming
      @HIFIDaydreaming  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I really loved what it did with Focal (Chora 806) and Dalis. Anything of theirs in similar price range did really well. Bowers 6th series, should in theory work good, but I just did not like the synergy that much. But if you can demo some Dalis like Oberon, Opticon or Menuet you should try that. Also I test it with one Wharfedale, it made sound more bigger and warmer, so if you like the sound to have sweetness and fullness it could also work.

    time will tell .' Longevity and... ' at 70+ I've had many different stereos , Pioneer, Sony ,NAD , Carver... all decent stuff. and I've never had an amp last more than 7 -8 years. a Pioneer T'table is 45 years old and still workin fine. amps, not.

    • @HIFIDaydreaming
      @HIFIDaydreaming  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey rick, thanks for watching my video, but you should not take everything as face value. I don't know how audiolab is going to behave in 45 years, but as like with everything it depends on how much is it used and how well it is being taken a good care of. I think turntables have a longer longevity as it has less electrical parts and modules than amplifiers, it is more hardware that is prone to stop working. But my dad have amps from his youth that still works, even some radio streamers.
