I own the Blessing 2 and have really enjoyed their sound signature. However, I was thinking of trading up to the Thieaudio Monarch or Clairvoyance. Yes, the bass on the Blessing 2 is a bit weak, thus the reason for the Dusk, but for $320, the Blessing 2 is worthy of all its praise. So, before I sold my Blessing 2 in order to spend up for one of the Thieaudio cans, I decided to do some tip rolling. I tried numerous foam and silicon tips; I will spare you all the details of each experience. But using Spinfit CP100 tips with proper insertion and fit (XL for my ears) changed my Blessing 2 IEMs dramatically from stock. I now have deep but clean and balanced bass to go along with detail and tonality. I now have saved myself a bunch of money as for me, my modified Blessing 2s are extremely satisfying and a keeper.
@@jasonbhatnagar7134 I've never listened to the Dusk so I cannot answer your question. But for my hearing preference, Spinfit tips make all my IEMs sound better than any stock tip or foam tip. I'm sure it is a personal thing. I can tell you that if your budget is $700, the Clairvoyance is worth it; end game IEM.
Placed an order for the Blessing 2 and ordered these tips. The difference they made to my power beats by Dre was significant. I Can’t wait to try them with my Blessing 2s
@@PioloAskal2009 Ah, unfortunately no lol. Still loving my etys!! I would probably eye the blessing 2 dusk these days if I were looking for a replacement though.
Nice review man! I will have to play around with tips whenever I get it back. My biggest issue was probably the angle of the nozzle more so than the diameter, but both combined made it challenging. Obviously, you know where my reference/target is --- Etymotic, Blessing 2, Viento-B are my iems. :)
Cool. Long Nozzles always are great for fit and sweat moments. Short ones they keep popping out. Is good to mention this. And what volume can reach on phones. I never use phones. But most people do.
Hello friend, could you please tell me if the dunu dk301pro is better in sound quality than the moondrop blessing2 and the Tin P2, apart from having different sound signatures? what is the in sq; thank you for your answer
I ordered the Wooden Green version on 11.11 and I'm coming from the Tin T4 and Etymotic ER2SE. I'm hoping I'll be surprised by them to the same extent I was with the T4. And on that note about upgrades, would the Thieaudio Monarch be a good upgrade from the Blessing 2? I know it may seem strange for me to ask that when I haven't received the Blessing 2 yet.
Ordered these yesterday, looking forward to a few long listening sessions this weekend. Ear tip recommendations? I use the large tips on my FH5, but it looks like SpinFit CP100 only comes in medium or XL. So I am thinking of ordering both, but I’d rather avoid the pain of a return (I know its only $12), Hey that is a lunch. Larger diameter nozzle - XL to big? Appreciate any thoughts you guys might have…
More fun than the blessing 2. Way more sub bass but not muddy since there isn't much mid bass. Upper mids are fantastic. vocals are clear even with de monstrous sub bass. Variations feels like a bassier/more fun flavour of the blessing 2 imo
Are the Blessing 2 suitable for edm music production? Yeah I know IEM's are not the best for music production I already got some Audeze Penrose headphones and Yamaha HS8, also the Tribit Maxsound Plus and I am planing to get the Minirig Mini's with the Sub, but I really like me some good IEM's for on the go which are capable for music production
I just recieved Blessing 2… and I have Tanchjim O2 with upgrade very nice upgrade cable… I have to say It competes with B2… love them both✌️❤️😎Of course DD and DD+ 4BA
I wonder what you think about the Timeless 7hz given it’s lauded similarly to the B2 as a giant killer punching above its weight with iems 2 or 3 times the cost.
Sorry if the vid made this obvious and im dumb. But is this a "fun" iem? I personally owned the ca andromedas and dislkked them cause "fun" music didnt sound good out of em
If by ”Fun” u mean warm so not really because they tend to be more analytical and neutral. You could find them too bright for you. But the dusk edition might be better because they have a bass boost.
$350 is just about the limit of what I'd be willing to spend on a piece of audio gear. Will these run well off a 3.5mm port on a phone, or does it require a DAP or amp of some kind?
@@lth_lch I'd suggest get a DAC though. a small one like BTR5 (cable connected to phone) is fine too. a phone is simply inadequate as a source to play with such a good IEM. Yes, it can play, but imo, you won't be getting the most out of your stuff.
Do these warrant the price difference between the starfields? Looking to upgrade from my tin t3s. I suppose it probably does, seems like a class above in terms of price.
Like what you say about the Blessing 2, really! But I still do not feel it the way I expected. Would be nice if you make comparison b/n Blessing 2 and JVC FDX1 of Drop. Somehow the JVC has more character to me - I don't say it is a better one. Guess, my ears get the the signature of JVC better.
Hearing max say anime girls is such a vivid experience 🤔 Moondrop is pretty gud with fit though I agree, nozzle to me was more of a sitting outside the ear canal experience though. But for some reason I thought the bass was recessed, could be fit or my volume listening level.
Sorry this maybe a stupid question but how would you compere it to a headphone? I mean it has the quality like the hd600 for example? Which headphone is similar sounding like the moondrop iem?
from this video it seems blessing2 is your recommendation for the $300 max price point. is it ? or is it still the er4xr ? do you have 2 other recommendations for $200 max and $100 max price point ? thanks for your honest reviews that are not afraid to turn down a bad product (this is rare as most reviewers choose to avoiding offending the providers of free stuff to test :) ).
@@maxsettings7884 thank you. Call me crazy but the price on the ER4 dropped $100 and I prefer not having to loop cables over my ear. So I might get the ER4 instead.... does that make sense? Oof, great review! Making my decision tough :)
Just ordered these. I hope they're significantly better than the Starfield, which I love a lot, but always feel could be a bit better. Also IMO the cable is dog and I'm not looking forward to owning a second. Ah well. ... Update: cord is still garbo. Super bad. Sound is.. I dunno. Very good, but not much better than the Starfield IMO. Big fat IMO because everyone is different. Also, they're gigantic. They're comfortable and secure enough for me, even when not fully inserted though. My ears aren't big enough to fit them all the way. If you have big ears these will probably be VERY comfortable. IMO just buy Starfield.

They're just boring imo. I've enjoyed them a ton at times, but other times I just can't enjoy them much. Everything sounds thin and distant. Shame, I was hoping these were endgame that I could afford. Edit: 10 months later, I love them and they're the only IEM that I use. The spicy treble and forward female vocals are like crack.
