Prominence is a weird one, it's basically homing on the first hit (except the tip but I can't tell if the tip of the sword is an active hit box because sometimes it hits sometimes it doesn't) but when it whiffs shits linear as fuck
what a dumb video, a) its save against certain characters when spaced right b) you cant step against this character because f1+2 c) f1+2 the first hit is basically homing, in your video it literally whiffs because of range, you didnt step it LMAO,
For the wall splat, i found that if they arent close to the wall, or at an angle, it wont wallsplat. So you need to he pretty close and hit them dead on into it.
The armor tracks SSL 100% of the time in range 1-1.5. easy way to do this is select a dragonuv, df1 and SSL. You'll get clipped. F1+2 first hit tracks both ways in range 1-2. Again choose a character, do a df1 and try to SS. You'll get clipped either ways
@@Oathkeeperclash Talking about close up, I've lab the character. Armor tracks to SSL. Not sure why it isnt doing it here, but the recording is a bit sus. You need to show 3-5 attempts of SS each way uninterrupted by edits so it can be confirmed. As for how you dodged it, you may have did a micro sidewalk which made it whiff. Just tap ss to see if you dodge it, dont tap and hold. Also I suggest when you do SS testing, it would be more official to simulate actual situations more realistically. Like df1 or jab with player 1 character vs clive, then SS to see if armor tracks. Or have clive df1, jab then u SS the character follow by clive doing f1+2 to see the tracking. Outside of actual homing moves, moves that track unofficially can be wonky sometimes.
@@Tain_edReaper testing an SS after common situations make the SS EASIER, doing it on timing is more difficult -- and those clips are on JACK who has the worst sidestep in the game because of his body width that makes it harder to step tracking moves. there's no need to call the footage sus. it's clearly happened multiple times in each direction. i initially had leo dodge it but i knew people would just say "leo has a small hitbox!" so i did it on jack. if a move doesn't clip you sidestepping, it's not "wonky sometimes" -- the tracking is poor. that's all it is.
@@Oathkeeperclash Testing moves in common situations is more applicable as that's where most of the SS happens. And unofficial tracking moves may have weird arcs from extended range/ off axis behavior issues that distorts it's actual potential. Also I did some labbing to confirm it and you're mistaken. f1+2 has tracking on its first hit. B1+2 armor has tracking to SSL slightly. But overall it gets helped a lot from the size of the armor attack making it difficult to SS after some moves/frames advantage. I made a scuffed video just recording the situations, can't link it but it's on my channel. Your video is funny but its misinformation.
@@Tain_edReaper But the discussion that this video is relying on happens outside of jab and DF1 range. The topic is b1+2 at range, where the move is being stepped. The more common situations don't make sense to be used here.
Nice job preemptively stepping b1+2 and f1+2 in practice when you know it comes out, try doing that shit online. F1+2 can only be stepped upon anticipation and brilliant timing. Adding on top that this is a safe heat enganger with easy input and disgusting range, this move is busted af. Electrics are justifiably hard to step because the input is difficult and it's a high, this fucking move however has all the nice properties you can think of and tracks like crazy. Yoshi's f1+2 is kinda similar except it's at least punishable on block, Clive's move is not. This is a ez mode move for a ez mode character, period.
You know two things can be true at once? Half of the what that post says about the move can be incorrect AND the character can be good? God you are the most embarrassing type of person imaginable, how is it possible to have such linear thinking?
Redditors just love to constantly whinge about everything, no surprise really
