The Throttle Down Kustoms frame are something else! They are a work of art! My dad and I put one under my 98 Tj back in 2018 and he has one under his CJ8. The only thing that is a little different on them from the factory frame is the center rails are closer together so depending on your Cat it might hit the frame I had to change mine to fit but I was working with stock parts at the time so you might not have that issue. But they are a stout frame! Even though I am on tiny tires I do stuff that I feel would rip the brackets off a stock frame! I have certainly ripped brackets off my axles before hahaha. Can't wait to see the upcoming videos!!

So they were able to do a custom length frame for the Krute? Did you just have to send them the measurements of the longer frame? Did you order it without the suspension brackets, and did you get it galvanized?
I’ve been wanting one of these frames for a long time, can’t wait to see yours.

They can do whatever you want but they will charge a premium for any custom fab on their end. I ordered a standard TJ frame without any suspension brackets, without front and rear track bar brackets and I had them center the coil spring mounts in the rear. I could have had the stretch it for me but decided not to after seeing the cost.

Good job, but thats not how i would have done it, i would have unbolt that long arm, and cut the mount off with the frame, then looked to see how bad it really is, cut it all out and weld new 1/8th steel in, then weld the mount back on, it wouldnt need that plate if you did it right. And im not critiquing or being a dick.. , ive done a lot of frame work on my Jeeps, and i dont weld plates over rust or cracks, it just makes it worse, i had to fix repairs like this on my grand wagoneer (by myself lucky you to have help) that someone did. and even worse on my Jeep j10, That plate you did, did you weld the long arm mount to the plate ? or just the plate to the frame ? i can see cracks are all along the mount, if you just welded the plate to the frame, the mount will still break off eventually.
Or i guess from comments im seeing youre getting a new frame ? ok nvm then lol but yea

Yeah this is all temporary so I can drive and wheel until my new frame comes in. If this was a permanent fix then we would have cut everything out and replaced the bad sections. What we did is strong enough for what I will be doing. We welded everything together to prevent the cracked areas from opening up again. The frame side bracket is welled to the piece that is also welded to the frame.
