We don’t usually run a heater in our blinds with the insulation you stay fairly warm with your body heat. The windows do fog up though sometimes so you’ll need some paper towels or a microfiber cloth or something like that.
I have the same problem of deer seeing me or spooking at the visual change when the windows go from closed to open creating "black holes". I do not believe that the stick on curtains Banks sells are a practical solution. Has anyone tried shoot through netting on their windows....comments?
There are ways that you can fold the curtains up or cut slits in them so you can see around you without a bunch of movement. We haven’t personally used the mesh net solution but you can get creative with your own blind to try and figure out what’s best for you. Do you leave your windows blacked out or use the Camo side of the curtains?
You need the 360 hunting blind I own both and I would never buy anything but a 360 no blind spots, tinted windows the deer can't see you, way better and quieter window system.
The curtain and blind kit offered are not that useful. They really need to come up with a shoot-through mesh similar to the pop-up blinds out there. There is a certain time of the morning that the sunbeams into my windows and makes any movement from inside the blind highly visible from the outside. I purposely switched up to a 18" barrled rifle from a 22" because the deer could actually see my gun from 50 yards out when I stuck that through the window. After buying some mesh camo last year, I mounted that inside the open window area and the deer never notice any movement at all now. Great blinds, just need better engineering in the window concealment dept.
We actually sell them and they’ve been running into a problem just like every other company with getting their materials in. The supply chain for shipping and everything else is really out of sorts right now.
