When i had this situation i drove the tractor up on blocks under the front wheels only. With the plow up off the floor, i simply stood on the high end + with my weight + bent the plow frame straight. Worked for me.
I don't know, I can't find a tag or label on my blade. My plow blade fits different models of the same year, it has 2 sets of holes in the back, one for a longer frame tractor and one for a shorter frame tractor. I think that type of blade fits most wheel horses made during that time period (310-8, 416-8, the hydro-static models too).
I think I would have put a piece of wood under the low side and stood on the high side and untwisted that pesky twist.😁Wonder how shimming is going to effect the mounting and un-mounting the plow🤔
I think they are meant for a self propelled snow thrower. Just don't get the ones with individual round spikes for tread, the tires will crack around the spikes over time. You need the wider cleats to support the weight.
Very interesting and informative A common problem that we all are likely to see with a very simple solution thank you

That thing is a beast! Seems to plow nicely now. I like them front tires!
I need to do this. My blade is wearing more on the left side. Thought I bent it, but probably just need it aligned with shims.
Why didn't you stick a bar on the front of the plow forks and straighten them instead of shimming to compensate for the bend?
Would like to know model number of plow blade you have. I need one for my 416-8. Thanks Gary

Love the front tires what are they called
Carlisle xtrac 16x6.50-8, I think they are meant to be used on a snow blower.
