i think this is a good redirection. the olsens never get too boxed in and are never too of the moment. too many designers for the past 2-3 years have been over referencing the row, sometimes doing exact copies of certain garments and silhouettes. with that, and the over-alignment of the row with “old money” and those aesthetics, it’s gotten tacky. the moment you become too known for something its the right time to move and change and keep it fresh. the fundamentals and philosophies of design are all still the same, i think theyre just changing the expression a little. there is a little something for everyone and also if your a season after season buyer you really dont need all the same things anyways. the row is and has to stay more than just margaux and drapey coats and pants and monkish dresses and tunic/shirts in all neutral tones. every season they do something a little more experimental with colors and prints and materials, this season they just let it translate onto more bodies and silhouettes.
100%
I loved all your insights about the collection! Great video!
@@karenpaulsen1711 thank you!
I’m definitely one of those who experienced The Row slowburn. Wasn’t sure about the plaid shirt but now I’m interested, although I’m just going to find something similar and recreate the looks instead of buying that shirt 😂. Love this thorough review. Thanks Neelam!
@@windraaw It’s a gorgeous colour, I know I’ll be tempted too haha!
Hello, first today. Your review and style are the most favorable to me.
@@waltercolor4195 Thank you so much! Hope you enjoyed it. :)
I'm very excited for the marlo, the gussets make it look even more oversized and casual than the Margaux
@@ixiaorage very much so
I have been looking forward to this review. Thank you. : )
Nesson is oversized but definitely toned down from the Luka.
@@moniquelangston8355 Yes it looks like it, I’m hopeful it works well for me.
I love many aspects of it (not all (I don't enjoy bright colours)); It kind of reminds me of the Olsen's early 2000s style with the lace etc. And the beige? checked blazer w/ matching pants is absolutely beautiful.
@@saradawn9385 agreed!
Have you perused the men’s new arrival? there is this baseball tee that looks fantastic. You would look amazing in it ☺️
@@thomasanderson168 I haven’t yet but I will take a look. Thank you!
❤❤

So true about check print pieces, you can get tired of it quickly and I wore it a lot in 90-s🙂. That Sablise coat in black is perfection and already sold out ! Thank you for review Neelam!
@@ulviyya_beauty100 You’re most welcome!
Enjoyed your review, not a fan of the denim shirts nor the nesson plaid.but, buying only Canadian now…so….
Hello, second today. Looking forward to your thoughts!
@@seulgilawyer 🥰
also hate to say this but you can always redye things. its honestly not that expensive and is akin to just tailoring garments if you really love the look and fit and fabrication and its one or two things off that are easily and not too expensive to fix, it’s always an option.
⚠️ caution ⚠️
⚠️ Starting to look like fancy J Crew ⚠️
They needed to move on. The brand has become more known for a style/aesthetic than for its latest collections. Yes, there were famous pieces and of course bags, but truthfully one could imitate many looks very accurately with a mix of other different brands. Even with very high quality items the whole things began feeling repetitive and I guess the twins felt that too.
