The fact that this topic is still pulling people in weeks later underscores how big a mistake Draymond made on this one. I have the feeling this is going to be an inescapable part of his legacy. Poole is a better one than me. One of us would have to get up outta Golden State. I couldn't continue to work with a co-worker that sucker punched me in the face.

Well, with the benefit of hindsight your point appears pretty prescient, most games GS looks like a shell of itself and non-descript rumors of “chemistry issues” have circled them all season. Considering that prior to that punch the Warriors appeared to be the most cohesive, selfless team since the 2015 Spurs I think it’s fair to say that wound hasn’t healed (metaphorically). However, in my opinion, it wasn’t so much the fact that the punch was thrown, but rather the fact that there’s video of it which got put on social media. Without that video the team can just spin the narrative simply as “Draymond and Jordan Poole got in a fight” which probably doesn’t even make national news. Sore feelings would remain I’m sure, but it would’ve been much easier to bury the hatchet.

Dude punched him and made him look like a hoe. That punch was thrown with real bad intentions. Meaning Draymond wanted to hurt him.
