hello! in this video i unboxed my new hp laptop :) i was so excited to get it, i've had my old laptop for 8/9 years (or more) and it was time to get a new one, especially now that i'm in college.

Heya i don't really recommend to use that kind of solid back stand as your laptop intake is at the bottom of the laptop, it will pretty suffocate the laptop if you run anything stressful as the intake is pretty much blocked, it will still be fine if you're browsing and watching tho soo just keep that in mind :D

Its so satisfying when we open our brand new things
don't use that kind of solid back stand though, they cover 80% of the vent which will make your laptoo overheat and it will affect performance immensely.

i've got the same laptop and it has fell off my table one time, screen still works, although the lid is a bit warped now, and theres a dent on the side. it hasn't slown down yet since a year! a good laptop with good storage and excellent performance. sadly my lid isn't aligned with the base though, and the touchpad seems to be uneven (left side lower than the other) although it's still pretty much definitely worth it! can play most games at 60-120+ fps (minecraft 12 chunks, fancy graphics smooth lighting, vsync off, gta V, roblox 5 graphics) and a bit more demanding ones at 20-50. (triple A games at the lowest settings, roblox at 8-10 graphics)
But they say hps have heat problems is it true?
@@user-lp6wq9kk3t well, it depends on the task, when you browse then it'd be somewhat cool. if you play games though, it'll surely warm up a bit since you know, the cpus rendering a 3d scene instead of just showing a video. it might just be because i got the AMD variant, which is faster but gets a bit warm. but for intel it might be cooler, but there might be less performance. well, i'd say that there probably is some heat problems BUT it doesn't crash when it gets too hot (for me). it might differ from model to model :D
overall it's still running like brand new though, really love the laptop's performance and storage, definitely worth it!

@@geraldinecortez9758 depende existen modelos diferentes soy de Perú y tengo la HP y no tiene luces para teclado no te recomiendo ya que la pantalla es pésima ahorra unos dólares más y cómprate con una pantalla mejor

it'd be cool if its touchpad can be locked like my previous laptop does. i primarily use a mouse to navigate and i lock the touchpad so I don't accidentally operate with it. does this model have a feature or function where you can lock the touchpad? it'd be my first time switching to hp brand for laptops. although it won't be a deal breaker for me if it can't, i want to know if the touchpad can be locked

@@zainabkamara4782 i bought this same model and yes, the touchpad can be locked. you can see it in Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad. there's an option to automatically lock the touchpad whenever a mouse is connected to the laptop. hope this helped you.
Hey, I've recently bought the same laptop. It's my first time owning one and I have a question. Is it normal for the laptop to heat up on the right side of the keyboard? :D
hello! i don’t understand that much about laptops ahah but i can tell you what happens to me sometimes :) the laptop’s keyboard usually heats up after a few hours of playing something or when i use it excessively. many people have told me that this is normal and that it happens a lot with hp laptops but to be careful so it doesn’t overheat!
I’m not a computer person at all but what I do know is that laptops need circulations. The vents at this laptop is at the bottom so I suggest using a table or board over your lap or bed to prevent it from over heating when doing stuff. You can get one on your lap/bed on Amazon and such. Hope this helped
the processor of this specific laptop is located on the right side of the laptop, that's the component that produces most heat in the system, even with normal usage it's normal for them to get around 60ºC

my dad just bought the same computer yesterday and im so happy! but idk when i charge it says 55% for ex it stays like that till it powers off is tis normal cause the battery is new or did i do something wrong in the settings and putting an email is a bit rough but besides that its really pretty if u chose space or silver but thats my opnion! it runs smoothly but dont put in any suffucating area as it can not get any air which can make games like pubg and high detailed gane a bit laggy but besides that its super pretty! if u like pink add a cute profile pic and wallpaper and lock screen and a pin or password and youll love ut trust me thank me later! ( i also recoomnd pink roses) but ofc ur choice have a good day!

Could you tell me how is the build construction of this laptop? I have a HP EliteBook at work, and they are built pretty well. I was thinking this could be the same, being just another HP office laptop.
Btw, why did you bought an office laptop if you want to watch disney on it? Office laptops are notoriously known for extremely bad screens. Also, the speakers are pretty bad as well. These laptops should come with better build quality and some additional security features for companies, but are terrible when it comes to entertainment.
I have an office laptop as well and I can play games, watch movies on whatever’s streaming service just fine

I bought mine last 21 and could use it for 4-5 hours continuously. The fan was not noisy at all.

@@leonabellesolis2917 i bought my laptop last jan 22. And it last 3 hours for skype call and sonehow watching yt. But in one and a half hour continues vc, less 50% in battery.
And almost 4 hours in watching yt.

Heya, i was thinking of buying this for college and I'm kinda worried about the battery, how much does it last?
i’ve used it for college as well! i’d say it lasts 5/6 hours but depends on what you’re doing on it. if you’re just using it for taking notes it can last a long time, also make sure not to have it on max brightness so it can last longer :)

hiii! to be honest, no. you can play games like stardew valley, the sims, and others of that style but for example, i tried running detroit: become human on there and ofc it didn’t work 🥹 i’d recommend getting a better one if you plan on gaming a lot!

@@padfootny if you’re like me and looove downloading custom content and mods, then it’s not the laptop for you my friend :( if you play the game normally, i believe it should run perfectly. it does run the sims pretty well and i’m happy about it, but sometimes it bugs a little or the game closes alone and it’s frustrating. this is just my opinion/experience! hope it helps :)
