Don't forget "MY LITTLE MARGIE", starring Gale Storm and Charles Farrell, produced separately from the TV edition (1952-'55). And there was the "WILD BILL HICKOK" radio show featuring Guy Madison & Andy Devine- again, a separate production from the TV series (1951-'54).......AND the radio versions of "TOM CORBETT, SPACE CADET", "SPACE PATROL", and (briefly) "THE ADVENTURES OF RIN-TIN-TIN".

To my mind, one of the very best of the series. Photos I've seen of Indian women highlight just how beautiful some are... 7 Sep 2024

Originally broadcast on June 6, 1953. One of the few episodes written by Bill Conrad himself.

Bill Conrad was an amazing talent. In addition to his great radio, movie and TV work, he also directed some interesting genre films in the 1960s.

He was also a producer at Warner Bros. in the mid-1960's.

Just love the angry pissed off Matt Dillion as portrayed by William Conrad. Especially contrasted with the more laid back James Arness as Marshal Dillion I grewup watching.

I think the Indian chief and the trouble maker are both John Dehner!?

John Dehner played a shit ton of the characters on gunsmoke radio and quite a few on the tv show..good villain voice.

Dehner could play ALL kinds of characters- good, bad, and in between. That's why Norman MacDonnell featured him in so many episodes.

Granny13AD, some whites have American Indian (they call themselves by their tribal names) DNA and don't know it.

That is an unbelievably racist and stupid comment. History has shown that people of ALL skin colors in all continents show their sinful nature (thievery, rape, murder, etc.) against their fellow man. You can't cherry pick one small piece of history and verbally castigate one group.
