While all Gunsmoke radio is great this episode in particular stands as one of my favorites. Howard McNear plays a convincing role and John Dehner a bonus. I think though this is actually episode 112 as broadcast.
So in the whole episode, they don’t think to ask WHY young Hank was in the company of 3 killers? Or why those killers were willing to enlist the Doc just to try and save the kid?
This was the second time I listened to this episode, and it was good as the first. What a powerful series. 11 Sep 2024
