Think that's the stair and lift house. The little room on top is for the winding gear take the lift up and down.

Brilliant stuff. love the weathering kits you use, and how you apply them. Really makes the model look far more real.

Titanic's sea trials began at 6 am on Tuesday, 2 April 1912, just two days after her fitting out was finished and eight days before she was due to leave Southampton on her maiden voyage. How possibly could that magnificent vessel have a weathered look. One would think she must have been in a pristine condition. .... Just a thought!
    Nonetheless, a great video.

True but also she was in production for two years..weathered is probably the wrong word. I just add a little to help with scale. To make things maybe not look like a plastic model…:)

Shouldn't there be a break in the railing where the ladder goes up?

      Don’t think so..I just followed instructions…

@@themodelbench Seems odd to me to have a ladder going up to where you have to clamber over a railing. I think I would have searched online resources to see what Titanic actually had there.
Anyway your work looks great and I could not do as well. I am considering buying the German paper 1/200 Titanic kit. I think I could handle that.

@@canuckprogressive.3435 I suppose they just ducked under railings…hardy sailors after all…:)
