Hi, It May Be strange, but I love, LOve using gift wrapping paper and packing paper. They are a Little flimsy, but they are perfect for enbellishments and , of I run out of them, they are chip supplies to buy. Other supplies I love to use are book Pages, stamps.
Saving things is the easy part for me. It's the storing of all the things I save that's a challenge. LOL! If anyone has suggestions or wants to share what they do I'd appreciate it. It's always good to hear from fellow creatives as something might spark an idea I really like and would work with my space. :-)
Even though this comment is old, I have some tips in case you still need them: - Cut off the extra bits of paper/card etc that you won't be reusing so you only have the usable bit (this makes me far more likely to use it and it takes up less space) - Sort bits vaguely by size. Pieces about the size of my hand or slightly smaller go into a small tin as this makes it much easier to rummage (compared to having them in a clear envelope which I used prior). Very small pieces go in a clear plastic box with small dividers, and I sort them into vague categories. - Large bits of paper go into an expandable file folder with sections and vaguely sorted by thickness or colours. Sometimes I also use those card document folders to organise bulky bits like folded Kraft/brown paper. - Random loose stickers go into a ring folder/binder with pockets designed for trading cards or coin collecting, depending on the size. If you can quickly look through to see if you have something specific, you'll be far more likely to use them. Hope this gives some ideas 😊
I’m a new subscriber and started watching your Junk Journal of July, and I must say I enjoy watching your process on your junk journals as well as watching your vids. Cheers.
@@megjournals LOL! If you saw my disaster of a craftroom, you will understand that NOTHING can shock me 😲🙈😳🙄 I would really love to get some ideas... 🤭
Just love all your videos I just made a small journal you inspired me. I saw in this video a stalogy you have it dated 2021 I can't find on that thick, could you tell me what size that is? TIA
Hi Meg I bought a Tombow brush pen but I find it really difficult to work with. Do you have any advice please? I’m enjoying your channel thanks 😊Andrea
These type of junk journals are so beautiful and creative! However, I never see any actual writings in them other than inspirational quotes is there any purpose to these journals other than just being pretty? Because I would love to start making them myself if there is a useful purpose! ❤️
I'm going to join your channel either on the 15th or the 1st. Thats when I get 50$ from my husband :( I would probably qualify for SSD but I'm chicken to apply,
What's your favourite supply to use in your journal? ✨
Hi, I love to use brown paper, old family photos and washi tape. This video was very helpful thank you 🙂
Brown paper , magazine pictures and washi tapes are my fav supplies .
Books. Old books, children's books, music books... I love using books for collage, embellishments, pockets, tags....

Tea- or coffee-dyed papers.
