they would never stop fighting. many israelis including myself accepted the fact that we'll always live next to the sword. i'm doin' well in israel. i live in the center near the beach in a place which reminds a lot of miami.i accepted the fact that only 14 kilometers from me there are mean people who would try to fire rockets and morters on me. i'm not scared by that 'cause my i.d.f is strong and these who'll fire would be killed. the 8 states solution would be a win-lose situation to the arabs

An "eight state" solution, based on sociology rather than politics, is the most natural and practical solution I've heard about the Israeli/Palestinian problem to date. Those people dealing with this issue should seriously consider this suggestion.

Dr.Kedar is brilliant! His solution can work and Israel will control the borders and when they can live in peace then further freedoms can be given.

Note his last words in the lecture "and with them we should make peace?" thats the bottom line, you cant make peace with those that want to erase you from the map and from history too. Only transfer to Jordan will work. It will come eventually when the world is set on fire, only a matter of when.

people forget that arabs got major part of mandate for palestine-80% Jordan, the other part was for Jews.

If Israel had stuck to that point and said we've had enough taken away already and after five wars there's nothing to talk about, it would have been a curious quiet in the room. God forbid they mention the San Remo agreement, it's the most relevant document regarding Israel's legitimacy and it's ignored

Professor Kedar: why would the Arabs ever accept your 8-state solution and put an end to the conflict and stop wanting all of non-Muslim Israel? Even if they accept having 8 states, that would make them stop fighting against each other, but why against Israel?
It would be very interesting to read a book authored by you on this subject. Thank you a lot.

@@feedfancier modern day palestinians are not the ancient Philistines. why?
simply becasue Philistines were greek colonizers from the island of crete, and palestinians are arabs and they are descendants of arab colonizers from arabia.

    Watch:
The Truth About the Refugees: Israel Palestinian Conflict
    uploaded by
    Danny Ayalon.
It explains that there is a SEPARATE REFUGEE AGENCY for the so-called Palestinians which actually perpetuates the refugee problem.

  • @maltija1
    @maltija1 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

The term "refugee camps" gives people who have never been there the wrong idea: they imagine these people as still living in tents, when in fact they live in normal houses and apartments. So immediately everybody feels that they are treated unfairly as the underdog. This, added to the story they have spun, of having been displaced from the lands their ancestors occupied for thousands of years, which has been swallowed whole, ecen by people who have displaced the indigenous people on their own continents, and makes everybody sympathise with them as a matter of course, without really trying to discover the truth.

31:00 but to be fair, the point of many israelis is that being a jew gives you the right to go back.
    Ancient lands blabla
But others only are allowed 10 years of return?
Im siding with the israelis but it’s certainly not fair. And i understand that many didnt live there very long but quite a few will have a family history of hundreds of years calling that land their own

However the majority of those Arabs flatly refuse to live peaceably alongside the Jews, that's the problem.

What is unfair is a religion made up of bits of Judaism and bits of Christianity 700 years after the second, which states that the first two are perversions of it. That is pure cheek.
