Israel solves a huge problem of shortages in Health Care mainly for elderly people by allowing screened foreign workers to work legally in Israel for 7 years while living in client's apartments. The workers receive a fair wage for the work they do, Health cover is provided, meals etc. and 1 month a year holidays to return home to visit. ..many have children in the care of family. There is no/little possibility of gaining citizenship or residency and everyone is well aware of where they stand before taking on such work. The demand for such jobs is high as on average workers can earn 3 times what they would at home if indeed they could find work. Even qualified Indian and Filipina Nurses take on such jobs which is a boon especially for elderly and sick clients in having a qualified Medical person on site 24/7.
The difference is that a non-observant Muslim who denies his Islam gets killed. A non observant Jew is still a Jew. That doesn't mean it's acceptable to not observe.
