I remember singing this in ECE and i loved this song sooo much. I poured my heart and soul out to this song as a 4 year old. That was in 2009 it is currently 10 years later in 2019 and i am now turning 14. The world is beautiful when we live in harmony 2:42
It's like I'm back in kindergarten all over again!! Our teacher, Mrs. Thompson, used to play this record EVERY morning to begin the day... This song, and also, "It's a Beautiful Day!" My childhood has returned to me!! Thank you so much for this!! #Childhoodmemories #Thosewerethedays #90skid4life
My little brother learned this song in pre-school at 4 years old in 2009(I was a freshmen in high school, so 15years old), We’d been in USA for about 2 years since we were refugees from an African country. He shared it with my big African family, and I personally have loved this song since then. He’s the reason why I come to this song so often. We can from a homogeneous culture/community, and we were not taught songs like this one. The songs we learned were mostly patriotic, ethnically/tribe motivated, and politically driven. Thank you for this song ❤
Diana Head Start in New Orleans💚😊 I'm 35 and we sang this song and Good Morning song on school days and in our graduation💚 it makes me wanna cry when I hear it now💚😊 This song is so beautiful💚
Man o man!!!!! I’ve not heard this one in a long time!!!!! The first few little notes brought back a TON of memories from the 80s. This used to be my pre-k 1984 - 2nd grade 1987 anthem here. I heard this today at my little boy’s pre-k graduation ceremony. I almost cried!!!!!
My little sister just made her big sister cry. She just graduated kindergarten and I can't believe how much she has grown up. I just believe how fast the years have gone by. If you ever find this comment in the future. I hope you know your big sis loves you very much🥰
I sang this song during my graduation from Pre-K to Kindergarten. I cried as I sang, that song got me. I even prayed that I can move away from the school that I was in during Pre-K where there were abusive teachers.
Goodness! I used sing this song over 20 years ago in choir class. I even remember all of the words even from way back then. These were simpler times where people honored differences instead of forcing everyone to conform or be against each other, smh. Great memories for sure 😉👍
Finally I found it. I used to heard this song when my Dad Used to took us me and my sisters to school. I was in the first year that was in 1983 🤗😔my dad passed away 21 years ago and this song made me remember him a lot.😔💕💕
LOL... 1997 C.F. Carr Elementary school Dallas Texas, 2005 J.J. Rhodes Elementary school Dallas Texas., AND 2018 Ida Handley Elementary school Garland Texas.... This song will never lose its relativity! Such a beautiful song and message. I hope my great great grandkids will listen to this when they’re in Kindergarten...
Thanks for uploading this, this all I remember this from 1989 I was like 5 " The world is a rainbow with many kinds of people , you put them all together its such a harmony, and the world looks beautiful and we live in harmony."
I remeber this song way back when I was 5 or 6 years old in preschool around 2006-07 and I finally found it, brings me back memories and nostalgia on how different I was as an misunderstood autistic little boy. I feel like those were simpler times makes me shed a few tears when listening to it and remembering my childhood 😢. I'm now almost 22 still really young but feel every year I drift farther away from those times.
Omg I heard my granddaughter singing this song so I put the song on and dude I literally got tears in my eyes. Her and I sang it together.❤️It took me back .
My 3 yr old is singing for Graduation. And seeing her sing it and do all the dance moves reminds me of my little self doing the same (I was in kindergarten) I couldn’t Held back and shed tears while seeing her singing and doing the moves. DAMN , time is a thief!! 😢
I've been looking this song for a yr.Been a kindergarten and preschool teacher since 1998 and until pandemic hits.Am now 64, good memories while listening now. Some of my students are now nurses and doctors, still keep in touch to 2 of my hundred students.
I remember going with my pre k class to see these guys preform this in concert, the only thing i remember from the concert was greg and steve running up in between the aisle to high five us, i was lucky to get the aisle seat that day, i forgot all about this memory until like a month ago and realized how strange it was that i got to see this live.
We sang this in the school chorus when I was in 3rd grade back in 1982. I also sang it with my students when I became a teacher many years later. When the students had issues getting along, I often times played this song on repeat in the background while my students worked. Oddly enough, they began to work together with less bickering :-)
My daughters teacher send me to play this for my daughter to show me what she learned 😢😢😢😢😢 it was such a beautiful moment for me that she sung the whole song a 4yrs old
Man... Mrs. Gallimore used to play this song during class for us in kindergarten... brings back so many years. I can literally smell the lead in the paint on the walls.

1. It makes me cry tears of joy! 2. My brother sanged this at his preschool and it made me cy tears of joy again! 3. This song is special and I am happy it was made!
My Kindergarten teacher used to play this, back then i thought it was about the rainbow, but know i see it’s about race and equality, btw my teacher was Caucasian teaching in a 100% black community I truly thank Mrs. Peterson for that
Sea Witch Slayer wow that’s very inspirational bro, how was the experience at the time? Was it weird? Or did you get treated any differently? Tbh i always wondered how my teacher felt in this situation. Hope your experiences were Great
Dylan Powell the students were okay, they didn’t know much about race until they sang this song and one of the teachers explained what it’s about. One of the teachers, however were terrible ones. One old one was very abusive, she and my teacher from Pre-K accused me of suspicion and misbehavior because of the way I am. All they do is drag and pull me like an animal, and I’m pretty sure they do the same thing to my other classmates. I almost ended up like George Floyd when he died of restraints (on his neck) by an officer, my arms were hurt real badly and I could barely breathe (the teacher straightened my legs out and the other pulled my arms and placed her knee on my back).
My favorite pre School song ever! I'm happy they didnt take this song out of rotation, and this was 27yrs from this day. This when everything was a lot better food money ect.
my 2nd grade teacher would always play this song, she was so sweet. she passed away from cancer when i was in 4th grade, i’m about to be a freshman in highschool now. i still remember this song. :)

wow just like the other comments it does bring me back memories of when i was in preschool and know to know that my child in preschool also sings this its a beautiful song and very sad at the same time. Especially at the times we are at now where children have to be separate from there friends and classmates.
