3:33 drummers syndrome. If you have any symptoms of this, including random maniacal laughing and short fits of temper, please call a doctor immediately. If any signs worsen, you may become Lars Ulrich. Please drum safely people.
Hooo, I think you're right. My bad, figured it was Rick Rubin since he's their producer and a wild bearded man as well and I haven't seen pics of him since about 6 years ago. One think I can't find much info on though is who Cliff Burnstein is, but the face matches up on google.
yo pienso que metallica, volvio a recuperarse, ya que criticaban demasiado sus anteriores discos... este disco tiene la re polenta, de nuevo esos solos impresionantes de kirk,,,,y la fuerza qe hay en el bajo..!
@plimi you should check out their cover band Acillatem, they have Semaj on vocals and rhythm guitar, Krik on lead guitar, Trebor on bass and Sral on drums
2:59 ....I think that it is kind of funny that James is totally like laying down in that chair pretty much, they are all sitting down....yet playing this totally awesome song that is SO head-bangin'....all while they are sitting down...I play that on my guitar, I have the strap way tight so the guitar is close so my fingers can move really easily
@555slipknot6sic6 He didn't for the whole time. Besides it's quite obvious when he's not drumming until a second later after the ''back track'' has stopped.
@sobczuk21 I personnally put it up there with Ride the Lightning, maybe not up there with Black Album or Kill Em All, but a great return to form. My only real complaint is the lack of depth in recording, it's all being done with no echo or reverb or anything like the older albums, that was a big part of their old sound. It's all in your face and sounds like it's poorly produced, and Lars' drums sound weak the way he is recording them. Other than that, they are heading back in the right dir.
esk todas o la malloria de las bandas se venden como metallica que por suerte en este estupendo album volvio a sus origenes paresidos a los de and justicie for all
Thats because Rick´s not a musician. He´s not like Bob, that he used to be a lot with the guys. Rick comes when the song is finished, he hear it, close his eyes and when its done he says: "I like this...i dont like this...do more of that..." However, he´s a men with musical taste, thanks to him we have a damn nice album like Death Magnetic.
@timomeier93 It was them doing something different and fun with someone they respect immensely...they didn't write hardly ANY of the music...they just played Lou Reed stuff with a Metallica sound...It's not a Metallica album
@dremingguitarist95 I looked at it for a bit and said to myself "something is not right with this" before I finally noticed the "C" missing. HAHA Metallia, would've be a good band name too.
Its strange to see Kirk helping on the album after watching making of Hardwired LOL
ZI BE what is weird is to NOT see Kirk contributing on... HTSD
He has been helping on each album since 1984

James vocals at 6:26 😍😍
Man that original solo at 3:45.....holy SHIT
If Cliff did the bassline on this album, it would be ONE OF THEIR BEST ALBUMS!

hey guys..this is the reharseal studio that appears on the guitar hero metallica!!awesome..
@ethai1 he's cliff burnstein, the boss of Q-Prime Management (the company that manages the metallica)

2:54-3:02 James' Thoughts "Did I leave the oven on?" Rob's Thoughts: "Don't fart, don't fart, don't--ah crap."
yo pienso que metallica, volvio a recuperarse, ya que criticaban demasiado sus anteriores discos... este disco tiene la re polenta, de nuevo esos solos impresionantes de kirk,,,,y la fuerza qe hay en el bajo..!

@plimi you should check out their cover band Acillatem, they have Semaj on vocals and rhythm guitar, Krik on lead guitar, Trebor on bass and Sral on drums
@XTwittyX I'm pretty sure that's Rick Rubin. He's the producer of the album.
You're great man, glad I found you, thanks for the good chat.
the making of a masterpiece.
fuck*ng awesome
2:59 ....I think that it is kind of funny that James is totally like laying down in that chair pretty much, they are all sitting down....yet playing this totally awesome song that is SO head-bangin'....all while they are sitting down...I play that on my guitar, I have the strap way tight so the guitar is close so my fingers can move really easily
@WeCrawlAllOverYou Yep. I could've heard Harvester of Sorrow too for a split second...
one of my favourite metallica songs
in this busyness everyone knows what the flight of the bumblebee is...
3:45 - Absolute BRILLIANT SOLO!!
@rpcarnell thats cliff bernstein (or however you spell it) he's one of their managers
OMG, rob playing with pick, that me like:DXD
he is not playing with a pick, he is putting his fingers like if he was holding a pick to play fast parts
@555slipknot6sic6 He didn't for the whole time. Besides it's quite obvious when he's not drumming until a second later after the ''back track'' has stopped.
That's what I was wondering too. Looks like Santa dropped in for a visit.

Kirk is the best Guitar Player EVER! .. love your Music with James :)!!
esk todas o la malloria de las bandas se venden como metallica que por suerte en este estupendo album volvio a sus origenes paresidos a los de and justicie for all
@CopyrightThis1 There's a horn at the beginning of the unforgiven. Maybe that's what you mean??
that is my favorite metallica song ever
0:42 Rober Trujillo: "AAAAAAAHHHHH" xD
0:35-0:44 la mejor parte del videoo xDDDDD
I like his little howling wolf thing at the end there. Should've been in the actual song.
one of the best songs from Metallica.
gotta love the way lars's da gets involved :)
0:43 Rob Face Like "Give Me My Banana Back"
Damn... They worked on this... And it turned out great :D
It's the part before he says : Than you crawl back in , into your obsession , ...
Thats because Rick´s not a musician. He´s not like Bob, that he used to be a lot with the guys. Rick comes when the song is finished, he hear it, close his eyes and when its done he says: "I like this...i dont like this...do more of that..."

Probably my favorite song from DM!
What will really hunt you down all nightmare long is that scream! forever! LOL
0.43 LMAO what an amazing song, ive seen it live a London 02 arena in march , i can play it on drums but i add double bass more
3:33 is from 'my apocalipse'
Nothing bad about a pick. My friend plays with a pick and his bass sounds kick ass.
Damn, that sounded so killer; James at 6:26-6:30. That Ol' Boy I so dig.
James is so awesome in this album
3:37 I knew lars was fuckin nuts xDDD
Bro the music video is legendary
Metallia?
@KDoNE2THReE I'd like to see you play this song on the bass without a pick and see how you do.
the solo that kirk was playing from 2:29-2:39 should have been in the song
not to mention the one from 3:46-4:04
Why didn't they use that solo at 3:46-4:04 in the completed version right before it ends?
They can't lose with Santa Claus giving them pointers.
@PovZ123 i'm okay thanks im a drummer and i was saying that it's unusual to see him using a pick
james at the end: oewhoewhwoeh:P
Como decia inicalmente la cancion?
En vez de "Hunt you down without mercy"
James canta otra parte
ke es lo ke dice?
5:13 "Alrighteeee! Now I remember these verses where a little,... like: where do you breathe"
@timomeier93 It was them doing something different and fun with someone they respect immensely...they didn't write hardly ANY of the music...they just played Lou Reed stuff with a Metallica sound...It's not a Metallica album
@timomeier93 it puts something good on Lou Reed's résumé
amazing! kirk finger tapping with one hand.
@Mafia2223 hey man, you need to clean your ears.. that's the final solo in the song
5:02 is the best part of this video...
"Diddlydiddlydiddlydiddly" Gotta love James Hetfield.
0:00 That's my new favourite group : " The METALLIA "
It's funny when the guys try to describe what part in the song. They like try to hum it and stuff.
Crazy as the top comment already said just this. You must be a genius!
The best Song on this Album ! ! !
@Mafia2223 It probably is without that effect.
since st. anger i've always wondered who's that old man that's always giving his opinion, it's not Lars' dad...who is he?
i wounder fi they can make an orchestra for the death magnatic
my favorite part ever
@Laflamme130 *has (I am a hungary man) sorry What kind of guitar playing Kirk Hammet? :P
I love Trujillo between 0:34-0:45 :D
Hes using a Wah pedal (Effects Pedal) i guess, I'm a bass player but...
0:01 Metallia?
@dremingguitarist95 I looked at it for a bit and said to myself "something is not right with this" before I finally noticed the "C" missing. HAHA Metallia, would've be a good band name too.

3:46 solo... amazing!
2:52 first time I see Rob use pick

What guitar does Kirk have a 2:20 ?
Jarod Sarno a red guitar with 6 strings

Trujilo uses a pink/pick or whatever the name is at 2:15 and some other places( not that its bad)
