Thanks for the nice comment! 😁 Hmm… I’ve never had that error before. Since Blender has a lot of built in addons, maybe they can get corrupted, as new Blender versions release. Uninstalling Blender, and download the newest version might fix it. You won’t lose anything as long as you don’t store your Blender files in the Blender Directory. If this works, please tell me. Good job fixing it! There could be a few reasons for the color not showing up. The tree and the leaves are separate objects that each have their own materials, so you may need to mess with that. Another reason could be that your viewport isn’t showing materials.
@@honeyjanetagle It’s in the addons section of Blender. If you open up the preferences menu, there should be a tab that says “addons” and you can search for the tree generator from there.
@@honeyjanetagle They could have removed it. I haven’t really used the add on since Blender 3.0, so it could have also got moved. There is probably some documentation on it online. I wouldn’t pay for it, though.
@@honeyjanetagle It probably got moved out of the addons section, into some web download section. I had to redownload the node wrangler addon because it’s not made into Blender anymore, but it’s still free. I assume they did the same with the tree generator.
Why didn't you explain how the pruning or DupliFaces/Vertices as leaves work? Because you obviously had no idea when recording this. Honestly, why do you create a "tutorial" for things you have just discovered and do not understand beyond the absolute basic level?
