    Which stair design is your favourite? I personally love the Diamond Stairs, they work so well for more elegant base designs

      If I hade to pick I like the long pathway steps, since I don't really build anything small the long pathway gives me a regal feel to my builds

    One thing I might add is don’t do Argo walls on top of Argo walls do aquilonian walls on top of Argo walls to break up the texture and add detail great video! btw

    you should try making early 20th century high rises in beaux arts, Art Deco, renaissance revival,neo gothic ext. oh and some quick tips use lattice doors or reinforced steel doors for windows the effect is amazing just make sure it has correct proportions so don’t stack door frame on top of door frame stack door frame wall door frame or instead of a wall use a fence as a half wall and for cornices I use vaulted ceilings or use a pillar trick to move a Ceiling forward by half a foundation and to the side half of a foundation. I have made MANY late American 19th century row buildings mostly mixed use using these methods also the row buildings are usually 2 walls high at the bottom or 1 wall and Half preferably 2 walls because 1 wall and a half looks more federal “federal architecture style” in proportions so I use 2 walls to get Italianate, second empire, railroad,Queen Anne, gothic revival ext for standard mixed use building proportions in those styles mentioned below also road must be 8 foundations wide less or more but 8 is a mathematically correct width due to the fact a Conan foundation is 2.63m round off to feet and you get 8ft and the standard road width in Boston or Manhattan is 64ft. Also detail the high rises as much as possible and light them up with fancy colors using radian torch’s if you like also do the high rises like a pillar bottom is the bad of the pillar middle is the shaft of the pillar top is the capital of the pillar and for elevators in high rises use slow ones so you can get off at each floor easily make a 1x1 shaft for it two and if you want to see VERY good architecture look at New York in the early early 1900s interiors especially or look all over the us for 1850s to 1910s architecture seriously some next level stuff and some great source material to go of off.
    Sorry if I sound insane had to dump all this knowledge quickly hope someone can use it it really improves your buildings and makes some insane structures

      Another thing for skyscrapers say I have a skyscraper laid out like this is going horizontally (foundation, “yes I know using foundations is taboo but I do it to get a smooth texture” door frame, door frame, foundation, door frame, door frame, foundation) right don’t make it flat it only works sometimes recess the wall with the windows by one half or a full foundation and add a wall separating the two door frames or pillar “beaux arts, it’s up to you just had to get that out there edit you can also use shelf’s for hood ornaments

    Great video. You may be a good builder to help show ideas of how to build to avoid lag within your base.

    This may be a stupid question but how do you fill a space with water like that

    Wow no comments? Lets change that. I've also used the Derketo stage steps technique on the interior of builds, doing sunken floors. It's labor intensive, but gives more height on the first floor. Haven't tried placing pillars through the recessed floor with the new build system yet, but it should still work with what I've seen you do since.

    • @Eradicati0nn
      @Eradicati0nn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aye using the stage pieces to recess or elevate floors is a great interior design method to differentiate areas, pillars are a little tricky to work in, but definitely do-able

    Everytime I try to do that snapping point thing with the fence foundations it won't let me do the bottom snapping point. As in it doesn't show up or ever let me put it anywhere else other the the top and only snapping point for me. Not sure what I'm doing wrong cause it looks pretty simple.

    When they redid the building system, they should have slightly mimicked "The Sims". So we could get rid of all of the tiling, and have different pitch roofing

    • @Eradicati0nn
      @Eradicati0nn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would have been really good, though I do have a feeling that would involve some massive work on the back-end though.

    • @GES1985
      @GES1985 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Eradicati0nn I bet someone could make a mod that just calculates how many tiles are in a row, and consider them one unit. Then allows the player to set the scale of which the repeating texture is displayed on that surface. I don't know how to mod yet, but that sounds like a logical approach.

    • @InnaciKorushka
      @InnaciKorushka 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe this game is not fully optimized and therefore even with a mod, the processing power required to calculate dynamic shading, dynamic sloping of not just the roof but likely other features, and dynamic barrier control so people don't clip through everything, would likely be too significant and require a near complete overhaul of the engine and core game library
