    I'll wait until reviews from owners here stateside start coming out. I take these bike press releases/reviews where they fly you out to some exotic beautiful beach all expenses paid with a grain of salt.

    That bottom end would be easily fixed by a tune, had the same feeling with my 23’ Papio. A simple tune made ALL of the difference. Also, in my experience with the Papio the levers are easily fixed with an adjustable aftermarket set.

    Sounds epic. Ive a 2023 KTM 890R and have ordered one of these CFMOTO 450MT also. DR650 or the CFMOTO 450MT for the same price? No contest.

    CFMOTO seriously needs to invest time into their tunes. I owned the 800MT and the 0%-5% throttle is like an on/off switch. It ruins what could be fantastic bikes.

      Interested in the 800 but was wondering if this problem was every fixed. The reviews I've looked at are a couple years old, so CFMoto has had plenty of time to address it.

    And I thought CF Moto had my heart with the Papios.... This looks like such a fun bike to upgrade to.
    Also, I have quadlock gear for my personal phone, my work phone, my ruckus, the CT70, my bicycle, AND even the stroller my 9 month old rides in.....now if only they would return my emails lol😅

    @chaseontwowheels If I were to consider the Ibex 450, it would likely be as a beginner's bike, especially if it's my first foray into motorcycling. I've logged significant miles on a T7, and it wasn't until I experienced riding a dirt bike that my confidence truly soared on the T7. Adventure riding presents its unique mental challenges, but in terms of the tracks shown in the video, I'd pick the T7 over the 450 or even my dirt bike any day. That CP2 engine's sound, power delivery, and overall comfort are unmatched. Recently, I spent 10 hours on the T7 over two days, tackling rough roads, gravel and easy dirt tracks, and navigating tight single-lane roads from Sacramento to Fresno in California. The T7 truly is a versatile machine-you can ride it like a cruiser, sports bike, supermoto, or dirt bike. It's an absolute powerhouse!

    For shorter riders who want to ride on and off paved surfaces and carry a small camping load this looks ideal. Will be interesting to see how actual owners feel about this bike. "Reviewers" tend to overlook some of the smaller livability quirks that can make or break a bike. The Ibex 800 looked nice, but felt top heavy and somewhat awkward ergos. It also felt a bit cheap honestly. I hope this bike is a bit better, from the limited video and spec sheet it sure seems like a great all arounder.

    after spec review yeah this could be the next small ADV/dualsport bike to beat for the price, currently for same price KLR kinda takes the cake for it but if this beats it in reliability then yeah this will be new standard

    @chaseontwowheels How does this feel compared to the Tenere 700 when it comes to the top heaviness as they are both similarly styled and have comparable weights. Im hoping this is more like a tricked out (tech, suspension,..) CRF 300 Rally with extra oomf rather than a underpowered T7 with some gadgetry.

    This is the segment that's hot now. There is a definite need for a light weight ADV and one with a lower seat height. Right now, we have the KTM 390, Himalayan 450 and perhaps the CB500X. On the light side there's really only 390. So the ibex is a welcome addition.

    I just bought the iPhone 14 Pro case, ball mount, anti vibration adapter, poncho, and ring stand. This is all because I started to ride again. My ram mount was not cutting it on my 401 Vitpilen.

      it is basically a KTM. They stopped developing the 490 in Austria cause it was "too heavy" and so their production partner CF MOTO took over and finalized the project. KTM rather decided to build a 690 out of the 790 which both are produced... guess where ... at the CF MOTO factory in China!

      @@AlexAugustinex the issues are with first batch as there is always issues in first batches. Many reviewers suggest not to buy first two batch here in india as thay have all tha issues which company solves with second or third batch so I will recomend to wait for some time before you get your if possible if not than re will take care of those issues just your time will be wasted

    Lightweight? Does it not weight the same as the KTM 790 Adv which has double power (although double price as well)?

      It’s as lightweight as a bike that’s well known for being lightweight. That’s surely a good thing. What’s power got to do with weight. With an adventure bike light weight is about making it easy to handle in difficult situations, it’s not a track bike or sports bike where power:weight ratio might be one of the most important criteria. A light weight bike with enough power will usually be better than a lightweight bike with too much power.

    700cc or more in offroad bike is BS but 450 is simply not enough.
    I've tested NX recently and 470cc engine is too weak even for beginner (you have to shift gears all the time).
    Small engines are not so fuel economic as well

      It's relative to where that weight is situated if it's high up top, then it'll definitely feel heavy.
