Removing the factory bypass valve requires installing a blowoff valve of some sort. The excess boost pressure has to be bled off somewhere other than in the intake manifold. Example, when you're going from 6500 rpm and full throttle then taking your foot off the accelerator pedal. The supercharger is still making lots of boost as the rpms are slowing down but the throttle body is closed.

Take mesh off on other cars at your own risk, it’s there to get a straight airflow for the maf , some car go bonkers on idle and u can’t drive it without reinstalling mesh
There are two maf screens actually. 1 plastic air strightener and and 2nd thin metallic mesh screen which you can only remove. Its final protection from debris and othet objects coming from outside, if your filter goes off or got cracked as example. But yeah, that first plastic couldnt be removed, it improve maf sensor readings and reduce air turbulence. Actually it gives more power.
It’s to dump the air so you hear a “blow off” sound from the boost. But the car runs bad because of inaccurate readings of the MAF NOT recommended to do it

@@RicerBenz Yeah we have ebay here but its just hard to get things from ebay to norway. But thanks for the help anyway, u are prob the only youtuber that is tuning a m271 and doing cool upgrades to it on youtube
@@itszayzack-2872 haha thanks man but there has to be more. M271 is a great engine but it want more power so I’m putting a 3.2 straight 6 in now😁you can check out my latest videos 😁
Boet, can I bring my car to you. I have c230 coupe. I need to add some horse power.
Yes sir, can you plz help me out with my problem, I had 2009model c200 kompresor and had troble code p0045, its says supercharger boost control solenoid circuit A open, where can I find boost control solenoid, tnx, hope you will answer my problem, tnx again
Google that p0044 code. Seems to me it could be a small sensor🤷🏻♂️
Where is it exactly I can find the boost control solenoid, I think we have same engine,M271 4cylinder kompresor
How much did ur engineer charge you to make that pulley?
If I remember correctly about R700/$50...
@@RicerBenz maaan you should see if he can make more 👀 id pay for that lol
Which I take did you put
Intake? I just got a cheap one online.
“Air filter”
@@RicerBenz do you think you can put the link
@@RicerBenz from where though like Amazon or eBay
I cannot remember honestly 🙈
You can just measure the intake size (the MAF) and buy any one. I connected directly onto the MAF👌if I remember correctly it’s a 76mm but not 💯 sure
Is a 4 cilinder 1.8 L kompressor?
Yes it is😁✌🏻
0-100 how many seconds?
@@darioledesma4489 around 9sec. Only tried it once🤣
Mhmm good ol hot air intake
Whahaha you know it🤣👌🤪
Re-inventing the wheel. Looks like you lost 3 seconds not gained.
All this has been done before.
This engine is not worth modding. But the only thing that actually works is
larger pulley, Kleeman box for the ECU that changes the fuel ratios because above 4K rpm the engine will be starved for fuel, a higher pressure fuel pump, and larger injectors.
For the cost and time of all that just buy a used AMG. C32 or C63
wht pully is tht bc i want to put more power to myn
It's about a 15% smaller pulley I had made 😁
@@RicerBenz i have 1 to u can c it in my channel
Is removing the pulley hard? Can it be done with normal tools.
@@majeddali1664 I think you need a proper press or a pulley puller for the job👌😁
Thats an air straightener not "mesh".
Your not doing your fuel trims any favors that's for sure.
Makes the element much less accurate.
Thanks for the advice 😁
Hot Air intake
Makes no sense with sc and intercooler
Nice work man Check my vids out too I'm doing same type of stuff with my m111.
I bet you got zero horsepower gain and runs bad, plus I’m sure you have so many drivability codes you strapped yourself in your c230 and drove off a cliff. Kids don’t do this!! Lol
Wish it was a C230🤤🤣
Hello. Can you who know this engine give me your opinion? On my C180k, the Compressor air pressure tube that fits into the throttle valve jumped at 5500 rpm in "full power" because the clamp broke! :/ The tube came off the orange sealant rubber of the throttle valve body with a loud bang. Unfortunately it caused damage to some part. Engine fails at cold idle and cold throttle. When it warms up it improves, but it continues to fail when I press the accelerator lightly. There is no loss of power at "full power" acceleration. What's your opinion? What could be damaged when the tube came loose? Tks for help me
