Watched an interview with Tatiana a few days ago and when asked about her "growls" and her clean vocals she said she practiced for like 10 to 15 years to perfect it.She said it's like having 2 seperate sets of vocal chords that don't interfere with each other.

I personally think she's the best I've ever heard. Some of the things that she can sing still send chills down my spine after several months of blowing Jinjer up every day. If you want to see her at the top of her vocal ability, try "Ape" or Pit of Consciousness live at Kiev.

And if you really want something different do “beggars dance” just audio though.
They have a very jazzy song with no growling called "Beggar's Dance". It's only a couple of minutes long but demonstrates yet another side of the versatility of the whole band.
There are a few videos' on JINJER's' web site that show them on stage back in 2010, 11'.. Singing the songs Abyss'.. And Angels'.. Which were originally male' vocals.. The recorded versions of these songs are male vocals with Tatiana' as backup!... I think Roman' and Eugene' are what's left of the original members...? Great reaction! Good song!

Tati used to date the bassist in the early days. She is now with the drummer of Suicide Silence. She wrote the lyrics of Macro and Micro, I am unsure about the rest of their albums.
Eugene, roman, and vlad write the music then give Tati basically a rough sketch of the music and she writes the lyrics. she really doesnt have any lyrics written (except for a few songs that she used poems she wrote when she was younger) until she hears the music and gets the vibe to it. just like how the other members will do certain things with their instruments, Tati does the same with her vocals. every member of jinjer is amazingly talents and in my opinion there are no other bands like them. every song is different and they are not afraid of bringing different types of music into theirs. they try to keep everything interesting so no one gets bored. a few others to check out are, sit stay rollover, ape, judgement and punishment, who is gonna be the one (live), outlander, retrospection. the list goes one. basically anything you pick that jinjer has created is a banger. Jinjer is a one in a lifetime type of band.

How is it that no one is mentioning the fact that their 4th drummer Eugene fell out of a 3 story window, and ended up in a hospital. He was seriously injured and the band had to have a fund raiser to help pay Eugene's medical bills. That is the love metal heads have for their fellow bandmates.

Also Words of Wisdom has a rap/urban-style video and a pseudo-rap rhythm to it. No there is nothing between her and the drummer, Vlad. My guess is she was either trolling him or she needed to readjust her shirt and didn't want to do it in front of the crowd.

Reaction or not you should listen to "Jinjer - Beggar's Dance" if you find the time. Its from their album King of everything (2016) and gives you a little taste of what this band can do when they move out of their genre. Favorite Jinjer song right there boys. I prefer the studio version, but you can see how fucking bad ass she is here. I think she starts a little weak here, but by the end of the song she is warmed up and fucking slays the last part of the song.
I prefer the official video for this one, because the audio quality is unfortunately not quite up there in this case and a certain part just does not steamroll quite as well as in the official video. But you are one of the few who actually noticed the flash. The original vocalist was a guy called Max, you can find the original recording of "Destroy" with him as the vocalist, as well as a version with Tati. I think from the current members the earliest one was Roman, who knew Tati and recommended her when the band was looking for a substitute for Max, but then she stayed until now.

Less 'like' it and more exactly that. Growls of that nature use your false vocal chords. Same concept is used in things like Mongolian throat singing.

Roman eugene and Tatiana have been there since the beginning. Vlad came around in lkke 2015 and they went to one guitarist. Check out outlander by them
They formed in 2008, Tati joined in 2009… the guys in the band now minus Vlad the drummer was successful with their Coud Factory album. Then Vlad joined after the recording of King Of Everything.
Edit: there is an EP with original singer but EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND… i used to have it, they sold their albums and ep’s at their shows in Europe. I picked it up and shirts at Geiselwind Germany
The original singer was named Max.. Tatiana was suppose to only be a temporary replacement.. the band now says they didn't really become a band untill she joined.. but yeah.. the whole line up is different now
Reaction or not you should listen to "Jinjer - Beggar's Dance" if you find the time. Its from their album King of everything (2016) and gives you a little taste of what this band can do when they move out of their genre.
For the suggestion part i will throw "Heilung - Krigsgaldr (live at Castlefest 2017)" in here. Totally different band but something you shouldnt miss in my opinion.

Favorite Jinjer song right there boys. I prefer the studio version, but you can see how fucking bad ass she is here. I think she starts a little weak here, but by the end of the song she is warmed up and fucking slays the last part of the song.
I prefer the official video for this one, because the audio quality is unfortunately not quite up there in this case and a certain part just does not steamroll quite as well as in the official video. But you are one of the few who actually noticed the flash. The original vocalist was a guy called Max, you can find the original recording of "Destroy" with him as the vocalist, as well as a version with Tati. I think from the current members the earliest one was Roman, who knew Tati and recommended her when the band was looking for a substitute for Max, but then she stayed until now.
