It is actually crazy they have not heard the one full Rap song from the Prodigy yet. Hope they play the original with the legend Kool Keith behind the Mic
Any time I see some content with some Prodigy, I CLICK 😆 Total rave classic. The movie Hackers led me to this track as a 12-year-old in '95, and I never looked back. R.I.P. Keith Flint
Morning all, I was fortunate to see The Prodigy live at Oasis's Knebworth show in 1996, they were amazing. Keith flint started out as a dancer along with Maxim and Leroy. I think 97's Fat of the land was the first album Keith and Maxim performed vocals. Liam Howlet made most of the Beats etc.
If you want to,dive deeper in electronic music with a slightly different spin than Prodigy, you may want to check Front 242, which is industrial / EBM. Their classic are e.g. Masterhit , Headhunter and I’m Rythnus bleiben. Check out a live version if possible.
Your love, No good(start the danc), Charly, Out Of space, poison, fire, jericho, death of the prodigy dancers (live)....i mean they started off at Raves in the 80's and 90's so some of it is just what we call oldskool hardcore breakbeats etc. have fun...and if that floats your boat try Acen - trip to the moon 1, 2 and 3 (and the b sides)..
It was on their former album 'Music for the jilted generation' You would be doing yourself a disservice by not hearing it. Voodoo People, Their law, Don't stop/start the dance, are certified Prodigy classics. Harder and less mainstream than Fat of the land.
To headline a metal festival with Iron Maiden and Metallica, while sounding like this, says everything about The Prodigy as a true crossover band. Rammstein and the Beastie Boys are the only others I can think of on that level. Fucking legends.
Vivo en un pueblo muy pequeño al norte de Argentina. Fines de 1997, mi hermano (mellizos, falleció hace un par de años) ) iba un par de días a Bs. As. y llevó mi lista de encargos: Prodigy - Fat of the Land ( o cualquiera que encuentres de Prodigy).
In my everyday life, I don't like beeing around people. But at the prodigy concerts, more than any other concerts, I enjoy beeing a part of the most insane but best crowd. Smack my... Live please😊

The Prodigy introduced rave music to metal heads like me back in the early 90s. RIP Keith but good to see Liam, Maxim and the crew still going strong
Like me too.
@jaszicus have you listened to Prodigy Experience, it's the real rave scene Prodigy?
same here
Keith was a hype man along with Maxim. Liam Howlett IS the mastermind behind Prodigy's sounds, beats, and image.
Fellas, check out Prodigy Experience, its proper old school rave stuff, their first album.
Charlie!
@TahoeNevada 🐱
You done Omen live as well. Prodigy brought rave music to metalheads and was accepted on every metal festival as well as the biggest metal bands.
"HACK THE PLANET!"
This song (and many other Electronica bangers) is on the soundtrack to the movie *Hackers*
Hackers is so bad, it's good!

Liam Howlett is a genius, change my mind.
This sounds like every other rave/techno song that I have ever heard...how does repeating the works of others, make one a genius?

Best band I’ve seen live. Legendary!
The Prodigy - breakbeat music legends. Rocking on the highest level since 1990. They brought electronic genre to the stadiums.
@DJDarthVader I saw them at loads of different raves over here in England early 90s before they changed their style

They were huge in all of Europe. They brought people from all genres together. Ravers, hiphoppers, metalheads, mainstreamers....
Never heard a live version of this song, cool stuff. Still to use to the studio version, mainly cause of one my favourite 90s movie Hackers, uses it.

@@mattieharris3747 Sure, I`m just saying they were not just big in UK, they were all over the place.
Pendulum are a DnB group with full band live. Worth checking.
D&B wise, Roni Size & Reprazent is another strong choice.
Incidentally, they've got a killer remix of Voodoo People.

My favorite of theirs
I've seen them 1994 the first time in Germany. It was great, It was different -! Loved IT!

A lot of electronic artists during the 90's in the U.K. used to go on tour with a full band, The Orb, Eat Static, Roni Size and System 7 for examples

The prodigy the only band to cross over two music styles rave and metal music. Should listen to baby gotta tempa
