I will be using this stitch to make dishcloths with alternating the stitch front to back, will make 2 rows font loop/back loop then will make 2 rows back loop/front loop

Thank you so much! Just crocheting blo leaves fabric too stretchy for me, and just doing third loop doesn't look quite right to me when crocheted flat. I love the fabric you produced by combining the two techniques! About to cast on a scarf with a loooong foundation chain, so this will be perfect.

Clare Steen -When needing to do a long chain, do a chainless foundation stitch instead. It's perfect for that kind of project.
Love this look and you made it so easy. I will definitely be doing this one, maybe scarves for my daughters for Christmas.

This stitch is known to curl unfortunately - if you add a border around your work, and steam block it, this should help it lay flatter 😊
