There's nothing that compares to a supercharged ethanol drinking nitrous loving bigblock. Especially at the side of the start line when they send it hard. It just never gets old.

So much awsome stuff in one video sad to se that starlet crash
That silver mustang at 1:56 running consistent 5.90s makes it look like a Sunday drive! So clean and smooth. Makes the other cars look like all the noise and bother and slick bodywork is a waste of time. Not saying it is, these teams spend massive amounts of effort and money getting setup.
Note to self, do not attempt to reach escape velocity on a drag strip.

Just looked up the g forces these guys experience and its right on the level of the same injuries that footballers get after a head knock and grid iron players and boxers get, so something needs to happen, especially after dragging all day and go to stop as well, the chutes have negative g's around 2.5 to 3 g's for funny cars, but still its massive damage to the brain moving backwards and forwards in the skull?
It's not the same effect mate, imo anyway.
We hope that guy in the rotor powered Toyota starlet is alright.
