That last game is wild. Knowing the outcome and watching each piece slowly slide into place leading to Chilled’s death is tragic. The odds were 50/50 but the surrounding circumstances were decidedly unlucky. If the previous or current cursed soul won the coin flip, if coven wasn’t voodoo master, if Chilled didn’t bait Chibi, or if Chibi didn’t voodoo Chilled then the outcome would have changed. For that situation to go that badly, a series of unfortunate events had to take place.
i'll be honest, while cursed soul is a bad role for itself, it makes literally the best what the hell is going on games you can find
It's fun.....until all the other evil roles are dead and it's just the Cursed Soul left to vote out, then the game because a pain in the ass
Yeah, seeing a Town SK is just too funny to pass on imo. But I get the role is just not fun if you don't get a killing role, though one can argue it adds more to it, as the Cursed Soul then has to deduce killing roles instead of randomly picking a target, like what Chilled did.
It definitely causes a little too much chaos for a role that rarely wins itself. It also steals other players chance to try out roles they might not get often.
@@zura8879 Well, if you don't choose someone, the game auto chooses for you, like if you don't choose a target as Executioner, it randomly gives you one and someone to torment
I definitely don’t want them to turn it off but yeah I agree. I think the cursed soul should be able to kill once it swaps roles with someone regardless of what it gets, so then you get the ability to kill but also some extra utility from whatever you take.

Chill making a fake will about being a werewolf roleplaying a dog while the "dog treat debacle" would be a very good subject for a psych thesis about the subconscious manifestation.
Town Serial Killer is one of the most incredible things I've seen in my years of watching this game - but that last game was definitely an even greater level of chaos😆

Just so everyone is on the same page when it comes to vampires, here is what I know.
-Vampires do not have defense.
-The youngest vampire i.e the laat one to be converted does the biting.
-Vampires can target someone for converting multiple nights in a row IF they fail to convert otherwise, it's every other night.
-Vampires cannot convert Mafia, Coven or anyone with any level of defense.
-You can start with up to three Vampires.
-The max number of vampires is 4.
-There are no mechanics for non youngest vampires.

I normally hate any kinds of ads and promotions, but I loved the focus fuel ad. Well done copywriting, and Tortellini is a great way to get people's attention. As a marketer, I couldn't help commenting lol. It's an occupational disease.
At the end of that last game when Bryce betrayed Cheesy you need that Palpatine meme of him saying "I love democracy"
I love cursed soul and the chaos it brings. But I hope they rework it so that it can actually win.
For example, the original cursed soul wins and leaves town if it survives for three turns and is NOT a cursed soul on fourth day. And the one that's currently a cursed soul dies.
If it gets passed back to the original cursed soul, it insta-dies instead.
If non-original cursed soul dies, original cursed soul wins even if it's not day four yet.
If original cursed soul dies before day four, current cursed soul gets their role.
So it works as a hot potato + survivor in a way.
I think, to at least keep with the role’s theme, that it’s win con should be pretty difficult. I’m thinking something similar to pirate, needing to kill 2 players to leave, but instead they need to inflict 2 players with the cursed soul and get them killed. So if a role is swapped, and the second player to be a cursed soul dies, then the first player becomes a cursed soul again and needs to kill one more person to ‘break the curse’.
@@PineappleLiarI mean... my idea fits the theme. The soul is cursed, so whoever holds it by the start of fourth day dies. Fourth, so that there is enough turns to do some swapping, but not to the point where all roles are swapped. And surviving for three nights is not that easy, especially when you have no defense, show up as evil/enemies and can't even stay at home. Sometimes, game doesn't even reach fourth round, though usually if VIP is on. Cursed chain letter could be interesting too, yes, but that role would need a different name and be neutral killing instead.

@@emperorflickI guess, yeah. But not the sort of win that ends the game. Maybe to counter that, you have to wait one day before being able to use your abilities that you stole. And by that time, the soul will move to someone else.

Cursed soul taking faction as well would be funner I think. If the current cursed soul takes a townies role they would still lose if cursed soul won anyway.
Make cursed soul a true hot potato by changing win con to neutrals only and have them swap full identities. Maybe add a vest feature for scenarios like a turned coven/apoc.
When I worked at petco, We ate the dog treats. They are actually pretty good. Especially when you are over worked for $9.50 selling items to some people who shouldnt own pets...

@chilledchaos I am not sure which dog treat you ate, BUT from what I learned in my company videos, H-E-B Heritage Ranch Baked dog treats are human edible.
I'm not sure about all dog treats, but I heard dog food (kibbles) is required by the FDA to be human safe due to people eating it out of desperation when broke.

Chilled, Kara and Bryce are definitely the smartest people. I'd rate Xeen, Ze and Cheesy next based on their fluctuations and the rest....well, still somehow better than Chibi and Emerome.
Emerome doesn't pay attention half the time, and Chibi has a big brain, with rocks rolling around. It may seem mean, but after you watch for so long, it's all you can observe.
Also, I'll never consider Platy an empath, because it's obvious the only thing he cares about is content, no matter how shallow it is.
Chilled ends up being tunneled a lot. I mean, Chilled legit got jailed for 2 whole sessions night 1, and then tunneled half those games for doing almost nothing. Kara ends up being the next target or the primary target if Chilled is bad.
It's just a huge cluster. You got the skilleds, you got the streamers, the gamers and then the......ones who are just there.

I can't tell if investigative roles like Psychic determine Cursed Soul's guilt by color/faction or the actual role itself. Ex: Is SK (Town) considered good since it's Town or evil since it's SK? My guess would be good, since faction overcomes role in terms of win con, but none of it matters since the new Cursed Soul shifts the roles further adding to confusion. It reminds me a lot of the Shifter from old modded Among Us.
Early on in the video: "Yeah, I might ask Ze how he feels about banning Cursed Soul. It's kinda confusing" *Proceeds to have an amazing cursed soul round*.
End of the video during the most convoluted Cursed Soul round yet: "Bro this game's awesome. That's so fucking stupid"

Lol a great rule for cursed soul would be you can't steal back a role and you can't attack the person you stole the role from unless you are an evil role that has a partner?!? It would make things really interesting lmao 😂
Wonder if they can create a necromancer role:
1.neutral evil
2. Has the ability to collect the souls of the dead by spending the night roaming the town
3. Can be seen leaving their house by lookouts and other similar roles but does not show a visit
4. They can trigger a trappers trap on their own house, but other visitors will not find them at their house and get the house is empty message if the necromancer is roaming.
5. The souls they collect can be used one of three ways: To kill someone each consecutive night at random regardless of defense but at random as long as they have a soul and do not choose one of the other two options. Second option is to use a soul as a defense similar to a survivor vest that uses up the soul. Three during the Day they can empower their vote with a soul using that soul up but granting them the ability to cast two votes.

Triggering a trapper's trap on their own home only, and giving a "the house is empty" message would make it incredibly weak, no matter how strong or varied its offense or defense might be. Almost anyone that interacts with their house, in any capacity, if the necromancer chose to use their ability at ALL, would instantly know "oh, it's a necromancer" and have carte blanche to have town throw them out immediately in the next trial. And by anyone, this would include: lookout, sheriff, coroner, psychic, seer, bodyguard, crusader, vigilante, trapper, tavern keeper, trickster, spy, admirer, cleric, monarch, essentially all coven except for jinx, all neutral killing, all apocalypse, cursed soul, inquisitor... You'd have to bank on getting exactly 0 visits for the entire game, because a single one, from the massive amount of roles that can do so, town AND evil, is an instant loss.
Same issue with "use a soul to get a double vote." It instantly gives them away as you can see how many votes are needed, so having two tick off with one vote, not accounted for by a mayor or knight, would be an instant giveaway, too.
Cool as a concept, but unfortunately wouldn't be very good as you have it written. When using the role in any way at all would just be throwing the game, 9 times out of 10, why would anyone want to do anything? (Also, again, they already have a necromancer AND a soul collector, this would be stepping on both niches and just muddying the waters)
Yea Jackal seem way to op. Like as soon as Cheesy was hanged Bryce should have died. The fact he got to attack one more night kind of defeats the purpose of killing one of the jackal recruits to kill the other which is what suppose to be jackals weakness but it didn't even matter. Cursed soul such a fun role tho be fun if yall have it more often was crazy.
Does Jackal lose it both recruits die or do both recruits die if Jackal dies?
If one recruit dies the other dies and the Jackal gets the ability to kill. They win if any of the three are still alive at the end, so if the Jackal dies first they still have a chance.

So someone on the livestream chat said cursed soul doesn’t have a win condition, which it doesn’t in vanilla, but in better TOS 2 they’re their own faction and can talk with eachother at night like coven or apocalypse! That’s why everyone keeps their original win conditions in this version, or else a person who starts as cursed soul would never be able to win
