I read that Chuck and Blair were never meant to fall in love, but they had so much chemistry on set, that producers decided to add their love story into show. Do you even know what narcissism is? Stop using terms that you don't understand the depth of. Chuck and Blair had style. They were rude and bitchy when they wanted to be and always knew their worth. But they were never "obsessed or in love with themselves. " Chuck couldn't stand himself throughout the show with all the trauma he went through and Blair had baggage from her childhood too. The way they behave is a defense mechanism. They may be damaged and self centered but calling them narcissists is an outright mistake.
These two will always be my favorite couple of any show or movie I’ve ever watched. Their relationship was toxic, but also beautiful in its own way. They always made me cry and I was so happy when I found out they ended up together.

The series toyed with our feelings for 6 seasons straight the least they could’ve given us was a proper honeymoon, Chuck and Blair buying a house while she was pregnant with Henry, and more Henry content with BOTH his parents. The ending sucks ass.

i feel like the scene where chuck apologises for everything is so powerful. it shows that even when they’re not together, they can be real and vulnerable with each other. and it was really important in his character development because he was able to apologise and please her without having an ulterior motive. he wasn’t trying to win her back, he wasn’t manipulating her; he was being good and kind and nice. for someone like him, that would’ve been really difficult.
Dair's fans are annoying, they think their ship is the best in the world when in fact they were also toxic and had almost no chemistry, they don't understand that we love Chuck and Blair because they are interesting, they are explosive together and visually appealing, there is something in them that despite hating them we also love them, not because we like toxic relationships, but their only argument is that Dair is better because their relationship was "healthier", personally I have seen and loved many healthy fictional couples that are much more interesting and much better than Dair. And actually I have nothing against they like that couple, what I hate is that they are always screwing with the fact that Chuck and Blair fans are toxic, stupid and that we shouldn't like this ship because we romanticize toxicity . I believe they didn’t get the end they deserved. I mean, they ended up together which I love, but it felt rushed, and they didn’t give us -the audience-, all the feelings we used to have when it came to Chuck and Blair. I hoped everything with them at the end to be more pasional, like their chasing. But I guess in this way it was easier for me to say goodbye to them.

i feel like the scene where chuck apologises for everything is so powerful. it shows that even when they’re not together, they can be real and vulnerable with each other. and it was really important in his character development because he was able to apologise and please her without having an ulterior motive. he wasn’t trying to win her back, he wasn’t manipulating her; he was being good and kind and nice. for someone like him, that would’ve been really difficult.
We are all here even though the show ended 8 years ago, because of Blair and Chuck. This is a couple that Netflix will never manage to build again

Dair's fans are annoying, they think their ship is the best in the world when in fact they were also toxic and had almost no chemistry, they don't understand that we love Chuck and Blair because they are interesting, they are explosive together and visually appealing, there is something in them that despite hating them we also love them, not because we like toxic relationships, but their only argument is that Dair is better because their relationship was "healthier", personally I have seen and loved many healthy fictional couples that are much more interesting and much better than Dair. And actually I have nothing against they like that couple, what I hate is that they are always screwing with the fact that Chuck and Blair fans are toxic, stupid and that we shouldn't like this ship because we romanticize toxicity . Well, if they are so politically correct, they shouldn't support Dair either, because they were also toxic in many aspects, in fact, they shouldn't even like gossip girl, because almost all the characters do horrible and illegal things at some point.
and even blair said herself "people dont write sonnets about being compatible or novels about shared life goals and stimulating conversation" something that wraps up blair and dan's relationship, all they did was talk about stuff but had no spark or fireworks
