I need a season 4 solely for this ship.... ..... ok, and other things. But I need to get some things off my chest and this is the first Sweet Magnolias edit I've seen since finishing s3 (SPOILERS!!!, obviously) I'm beyond happy that Annie is getting her own Junior Magnolias group with Lily & CeCe. However, CeCe was looking wistful about Ty and I don't want him messing up her newfound friendship with Annie. And as much as I desperately want Annie and Ty to FINALLY be together, it's the immediate future that has me holding my breath. Yes, he is in his senior year and planning to take a gap year (for now). Which means he'll be around while Annie completes her senior year. But she is brilliant and talented and, thanks to a certain windfall, could go to college ANYWHERE. I predict she will go to college at least out of state and they'll have relationship troubles that leads to a break-up. FEAR NOT because if I know writers, and I consume enough trope-filled content to know, that at some point they most definitely will end up together. And if for whatever reason they don't end up married happily ever after, I will rage quit. Thank you for reading my rant.

Annie's still oblivious, which kinda made me want to shake her as I was watching Season 3 but Ty broke my heart with his sad puppy dog eyes watching Annie be with someone else. Please give us a season 4 so these two can finally become canon!

What high school baseball senior even knows that title? Props for either subverting typical jock stereotypes or whatever set worker saw that book and thought it would be funny as hell.
i think the writers could have done so much better at having them pining for eachother. there’s times where they are together and it doesn’t feel like they are romantic at all but then other scenes they are. we needed more awkwardness everytime they are together and glances. i’m so confused on why ty would help with jackson and then talk to jackson make nice with him if he was figuring out he loves her. it felt like he was only jealous about jackson on and off. i needed him to be so jealous he can’t even look at them together.

I do hate how they went about breaking up Annie and Jackson. I wish they had broken them up because he moved too far away from each other to be together. He was good to Annie. And I know he didn't stand up for her and stuff, but his mom is a 🐝itch. I would be scared to make her mad. But we got that hug out of it. And Ty looked so happy when he was hugging her.

*Spoilers* Annie broke up with Jackson because Jackson felt the need to hide their relationship from his mother, due to her resentment towards Maddie, Dana Sue, and Helen, which by detention basically includes their families. If you ask me it was a bit unfair towards Jackson, but it was understandable nonetheless.
So essentially after the Car accident in the season finale, when Kyle crashed that car, with Nellie, andJackson broke Tylers arm, Mary Vaughn made it clear Nellie, and Jackson had to stay away from the other kids. This led to Jackson declaring he didn't care about his Mom forbidding him from seeing Annie. So they lied and snuck around for a long time, with little moments here and there. The whole thing got more complicated when Jackson's dad resigned as Mayor after stealing from the town and fled to Charlston. The final straw was one day, when Annie drove all the way to Charston to go see Jackson, she crashed her car as she was trying to head back home. Even though he was within 6 feet from her car, and watched it, he basically just left to the opposite side of the parking lot while Annie called Ronnie, and Dana Sue. As she kept glancing across the lot, Dana Sue noticed, and realized what had happened and confronted Jackson. To which he claimed he couldn't be seen with her. Then stuttered an excuse about how they weren't supposed to be seeing each other. Upon realizing Annie had been lying, and sneaking around, Dana Sue was very upset and grounded Annie. After reflection, Annie began to realize he didn't care for her as much as she thought he did. In the beginning Jackson had declared he wasnt goung to listen to his mom, and defy her order to stay away. Instead, they basically just snuck around the whole time. When she eventually talks to him after the car accident, hes on the field hanging out with his friends. When he finally goes to talk to Annie, he literally just says hey, like nothing happened. Annies finally tells him she initially believed he was just misunderstood, but after everything that happened, realized, he's not who she thought he was, and that she deserved better.
