After watching this video I really don’t believe all the rumors about Blake and Leighton hating each other. Im sure they weren’t besties but I really doubt they hated one another, it’s just the media have no gossip to talk about that day.
I read articles from the director himself he said they were friendly but not friends, Leighton was quite in between sets and was doing her own thing and how they have different personalities but never hated each other. Something like that :)
Not everyone you meet or work with needs to be friends. They were certainly friendly and professional. Media always potrays actresses as competition/ catfight but actors as bros.
From all the articles I think it's like an introverted extroverted thing, they said that when Leighton wasn't filming she was just reading or wandering the sets or something and that Blake always knew all concerts shows events etc going on at the time she was more outgoing
Penn not being able to say "Gossip girl is dead" was freaking hilarious. We all knew how hilarious the line was and the whole cast cracking up over it was the best.

Ed’s ability to switch between his accent and his American accent is incredible. Most actors can’t switch back and forth so effortlessly. That is incredibly impressive.
I am smiling at how professional Blake and Penn are! Like Blake and Penn have already broken up during Season 6 and you can see in these bloopers that they were okay and still friends and can still portray Dan and Serena being in love!
They broke up when show was shooting in season 4 but still managed to do great amount of love scenes in season 5 & 6 not to mention wedding in the finale🙌🏻 after Blake got married in real life👏🏻
Leighton's personality is so different from Blair's and her acting so good, that it feels like Blair's ghost slips into her every time she starts acting!
It's 2020 and I am rewatching gossip girl because it was a great series. The creator of this show may have had an insight as to what social media will be today. Thanks for sharing this video.
