Let's say my 2013 5.0 is bone stock. And I bought this supercharger and decided too install it very first thing. Would it blow my motor? Or would I need too buy extra parts for the mustang before I decide too install this kit? Please let me know I'm desperate
What would you ballpark charge to put a on3 turbo kit on a 09 auto 4.6 if you do that? (Its only lowered/ CAI) curious for within the next few months, will be looking for someone to do it.
You could run lower boost without upgrading the fuel system, but if you upgrade the fuel system to a safe boost level for the engine, your clutches in the transmission should last for a good while. A built transmission would be on the year or two radar if you ran around 12 lbs all the time.
@@vonalmighty5149 after a certain point, say around 800+ HP or a couple years running around 700 HP. They won't just break at the lower power levels though, they'll just gradually start to slip and you'll be able to recognize it.
Not that we've been told. We were careful to make sure all the components had proper clearance to other objects when we installed the kit. Anything touching that we couldn't clearance more got proper padding placed around it.
@@BuckChoklitt That's the spot we had to pad on this car too. We just cut an old radiator hose and squeezed it between the MAF housing and timing cover. We cut it to length, then split it into three strips and used one of them in between. We secured it with additional worm clamps.
Lol it was a clean flash light and brand new wire crimpers. You don't have to worry about us keeping things clean. If you watched til the end and saw the completed install, you would know that.
Those new f150’s are no jokes. Stock doing 60 in 5.5 seconds and if you do a little bit of tuning you can hit it close to a new mustang.

You'd need a tune and, depending on the boost levels, an upgraded fuel system. The supercharger itself is not just plug and play.
Nice. I’m convinced to get a Paxton supercharger 🙏🏽
Wow’s better Paxton or Vortech superchargers?
They're the same company now, so there's not too much of a difference.
An excellent video, thanks for sharing.
What BOV is he using?

How much did u charge him to do this ?
The supercharger kit with fuel injectors, spark plugs, fuel pump booster, and tune is around $10000.00 installed. That includes all parts and labor.
Dam I got 2 shops here in near Montgomery, Alabama trying to charge me 2000 for install and tune.

And I'm talking about the early 6r80s, I'm not sure what transmission you have.
Would it pass smog?
As long as you keep your stock catalytic converters, I think it should be. Which state do you live in? We can check for you.

@@SavageProductionsCars What kind of material did you use for padding? My MAF housing is definitely touching the timing cover.
