Nice performance option. I prefer the natural aspirated thing but to have some extra power is always cool. Loved that "modern vs classic" match at 3:35.
We filmed this about a year and a half ago, figured it's good content for anyone wanting to supercharged a 2011-2017 Mustang GT. Thanks for the comment.
I'm sure he meant stock hellcats not modded ones although it may take care of some modded ones too. Most hellcats run 11s when stock 10s are not common for stock ones although it has happened on slicks
Great video bro! Around how much for this setup? To buy and install. I don't plan on going to the drag strip and want to be able to drive it daily with minimal problems
A full bolt on 10R80 car with cams, and E85 is not running 10’s without substantial weight reduction. He achieved 10’s in a full weight, fully equipped car by bolting on one modification. A blower. He’ll have an extremely usable powerband and with E85 and a pulley he’ll be in the 9’s.
$10,000 is too much money to be in the 10’s? Do you work at Walmart? Do you also believe boosted quarter mile times are fixed and you can’t bolt on a smaller pulley, run E85 and pull off a 9 or even 8 second pass?
It looks like all he did was install a basic positive displacement supercharger kit. A proven setup. That’s about $7,000 to $8,000 in parts plus maybe $2,000 to $3,000 in labor. If you have that money to blow on performance parts in the first place than you’ll replenish it in short time. You can enjoy the car for years as opposed to coke and bitches which lasts a night and makes you feel absolutely horrible the next day, or for multiple days.
It’s great to have a Mustang you know is dominant and Ford created a nice piece.

Nice! I want to do this on my 13-14 with bolt on's and 100 shot!
Holy shit it’s skinny Alex.
Look at the young Alex. haha
Love my yote
How much boost did the supercharger make?
I believe it makes 8-10 psi, we've yet to use the small pulley from VMP. We're on a mild tune but we're planning to turn it up.
Good video but how long ago was this filmed lol. Alex hasn’t been at VMP in a couple years

@@revanevan BRING BACK ALEX!!
@@mickster026 Alex has been with Lund for like 5 years now. You can watch his daily live show anytime.
What are the limits of the 6R80? Looking at a VMP for my 14 GT Auto.
Many have gone 9s with s stock trans. We’ve been 10.50s and so far probably 200 trouble-free passes on the stock transmission.
What size pulley?
What octane was it tuned for?
93
makes me want a coyote car even more...
Thanks for your comment, they make great hots rods that you can mod any way you like.
Is 91 ok for this setup? It’s the best fuel grade in my area and not really trying to go e85
Yes, if it’s tuned for it.
I think this car has a stock rear view mirror?
The real question is how many dyno runs did it take to expel the catalytic converter guts out ? Erm i mean the 🐱 's are 100% still.
bentboybbz took about 50-60 quarter mile runs before one blew out.

Awesome!
Thank you!
Was that a 18 intake he pulled off?
Kevin Washington nope, stock 2014.
Smashes Hellcats!😂Thats a major generalization👍

Would this setup be daily drivable? got a 6r80
Yes without a doubt.

Probably $9-10,000 with everything and labor.
What size pulley was on the car ?
Stock with the kit
I need this for my f150
i,m surprised the bottom end lasts
Car has over 200 run with no trouble.
@@revanevan impressed thanks
10’s with this, what? I do this n/a😃

Hey I know that car!

To much cash to be in high 10s.
No it's not. That blower has plenty of cars in the 8's.
This still has stock cats also?

@@brucear No, not with a cam upgrade. You can do it, but it’s not necessary.
Four minute commercial to Frankenstein your 5.0 and take a hit to your net worth. Brilliant, I rather buy gold bullion or coke and bitches.

Do these have issues with heatsoak?
With a dual fan, triple-pass heat exchanger and low boost? There is no way.
His boost temps will consistently be 20 to 30 above ambient.
