Currently driving the St Puma 1.5 . Trying to look for something positive with this facelift, but that steering wheel and massive info screen is unappealing. Plus 1.0 hybrid with auto box is embarrassing. 170 bhp and 0-60 in over 7 seconds puts this in average suv territory, no way this can carry an ST badge. Wake up Ford 😢
A larger and better positioned infotainment screen is always desirable. I cant understand why anybody would honestly prefer the smaller screen thats stuck on top.
Nice looking from the exterior! The puma has always been a good looking car in all trims but I’m having a bit trouble excepting the dashboard everything on it looks like an afterthought I’ve always liked the cluster in front of you to have what been in cars for decades and that’s a actual dashboard not just a set of screens which look as though they’ve just been plonked in with no design🤷♂️ engine wise hopefully ford has sorted out the big problems which has given its nickname (I’m not going to say it because it’s boring everyone thinks they are the first person to say it🥱😴) because it’s a very sweet and smooth engine with a acceptable bit of punch to it! But overall the ford puma in all trims will sell in the bucket loads so to speak because it’s a good all round car I’ve had mine for 6 months now and a can’t fault it😊
St with a 1L Auto engine 🤦 I've had 4 st now and will be keeping my mk4 focus there's nothing to trade it in for
Got a Fiesta St, want to get a focus st but the insurance price will kill me 😭Was thinking of a puma st but not too comfortable with a 1.0L ST. Especially on an SUV

I don't have a problem with this version. I prefer the big screen and the powershift gearbox. I don't like that the azura blue colour is not available anymore and most importantly it is far too expensive. I would love to simply have the st-line version with 170 ps instead of 155 or maybe a Focus with this engine.
the staring wheel is all the same on all facelift models ..looks weird, feels great

I'm a Fiesta ST MK8 owner and I simply see nothing desirable from Ford in terms of future upgrades.
The outgoing MK8.5 is mostly available in 5 door and misses features from the MK8 due to the COVID supply issues, so that's a no. There definitely isnt enough there to warrant an upgrade and in many ways it's worse.
The Puma is a big no because I don't want a jumped up, less powerful Fiesta, and I hate that steering wheel 😅.
The latest focus ST looks great but I'm just not looking for a car that big, and I don't think it really offers that much of an upgrade in terms of performance.
I think my next car will probably be something like the m240i or m135i but for now I'm going to keep enjoying the Fiesta!
What an own goal by ford having a 1.5 St with limited slip differential and having driven my brothers 1.0 ltr puma ST all I can say is oh dear what and where are Ford going m.
This might be the best looking ST model in terms of styling, really like the front splitter, but it's all looks with no substance. Some serious audacity from Ford to give a 1.0 automatic hybrid an ST badge, it's truly an insult to the fast Fords that came before. This really is the end of Ford Performance, there's nothing in the lineup that can replace a Fiesta ST, and we'll soon see the same for the Focus ST. It's exceptionally sad to see.
Just bought one of the last 1.5 Pumas in Azure Blue knowing these were coming. I'm sure they will suit some, but not me.

I love my Puma 1.5 ST and my 2 Fiesta STs before it.
I was holding out for the new dash in the facelift as a reason to trade up to a new Puma ST 1.5 but that won’t be happening! All the fault of pointless calamitous EU net zero regulations. The paint colour options on the new model are dire. That Cactus colour is hideous. Where’s the lovely non metallic bright blue gone, Grey Matter and the metallic gun metal grey? Ford, what have you done?!
