    The word Cari was thinking of was "flake." A flake is someone who is unreliable. You can also use it as an adjective to say someone is "flaky."
    Also, I think "fluke" is used to differently in Britain and America. In America, a fluke is something that happens that was a low probability or by total chance. For example, if you were walking somewhere with no trees except for one single tree and it happened to fall on you just as you walked by, it would be described as a "fluke."

    • @SkremoMcThrftsto
      @SkremoMcThrftsto 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      On second thought, I guess what he showed in the video is a decent example of a "fluke."

    • @EasyEnglishVideos
      @EasyEnglishVideos  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your input TK - I personally only used the word "fluke" for fortunate improbable events. But by definition it can be used for negative and positive chances of luck 🤷‍♂️

      @SkremoMcThrftsto 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EasyEnglishVideos That's interesting. It seems like the majority of the time I've heard it or used it here, it was for negative or neutral events. It's possible I just hang out with more negative, unfortunate people than you though. Haha
