It looks like they've actually made an effort to make these maps look european, unlike Scandinavia which was just a Canadian map with different street signs. That little logging tractor looks so unique! That's exactly the kind of thing they should be adding more of, quirky unknown but highly practical vehicles that add some variety!
I agree! We have enough flat bed, trailer & crane combo's, we have plenty of super heavy 60+ inch wheels, more obscure but useful vehicles would be awesome
@@tom.c44 yeah otherwise they've just repackaged the Burlak. Maybe the RV's can source repair points from houses or other similar locations, but at much smaller quantities- but there are many sources of repair points around a map?

So far we got 4 scouts and the devs said they wouldn’t add any scout vehicles, also they talked about some unused licenses but all we got was these 2 camper trucks that are unique, but they probably only got the “earthroamer” license and not Ford and Chevy… At least the maps are pretty good compared to past seasons recycled environments. Overall Year 4 feels middle of the road for me 🙂
It's a stupid vehicle in Snowrunner because it's literally just a RV/camper. It's not like the van-body type thing; it's literally a living space in the back there. It's realistically useless.
@stigmautomata that's what I'm saying. They gotta give us other frame addons cause this makes no sense. If they're doing this for role players, what's the sense in making 2? I was kinda hyped cause i was originally thinking we'd be able to remove the camper and get a modern pickup or something.
@@thedugout5192Let's pray we can...but since they're licensed, I highly doubt it as these are licensed RV's, not work trucks. Such a disappointment. Hopefully the living quarters IS removable and modders can add add-on sockets. And that radar unit is so useless too. GGMS radar mod is the way to go still
As it is invariably several months between SR region DLC's, the farming could easily have been given, or at least a modicum, of realism ie... Plough field, harrow field, drill field (plant crop). Then every week or so feed the crop with either organic of chemical fertilizer for at least 6 to 12 weeks depending on the crop, a choice of crops to drill & the % chance of becoming diseased or attacked by pests. With crop yields & amount paid dependant on the type of fertilizer used, with organic having a higher value & chemical having a slightly higher yield per acre. The inclusion of crop disease & pests, with a repeating notification, would add a risk factor, the longer the player takes to resolve the issue the more of the crop is lost, with both natural & chemical remedies being available to purchase, using the chemical variants lowering the crop value but they are much cheaper (40%) than than the natural remedies that have zero impact of crop value

Not really . The comments suggest the title is accurate :) we were expecting 1 scout vehicle we got 2 . And we were expecting 1 truck, and we got 2 tractors instead :)
Looking sweet as hell!! I'm pretty pumped. Useful Scouts, and tractors... well... I could do without the farming, but maybe if it isn't as "much" as in Season 8, when they introduced it... they went OVERBOARD big time.

This season offers nothing exciting whatsoever. More scouts? We don't need those. More farming? I HATED farming and have no idea why they keep pushing for it. Why not have more rebuild and repair? Like mining raw materials at a mine, then transferring dirt and minerals to a processing plant to manufacture materials used for making new roads or resurfacing, would be so much better than farming. I can't believe we're going back to potatoes again. What a tragedy. They need to get back to the essence of Snowrunner, recovering stuck vehicles used to be really exciting, and challenging maps. Sad.
Damn more pretend (instant crop) farming YAWN The little 6X6 tractor looks like a Puch built tractor with the same engine as a diesel G Wagon with much lower bhp & much higher tow rpm torque output with its primary use being coppice work & roadside hedge trimming, as unlike a full sized tractor they are less of an obstacle on narrow lanes & can manoeuvrer beteween fully grown trees
Those RV's are so out of place in this game, especially because the roamer is much too big for European countries. And tractor? If i want farming, I'll play FS. Only little hope is the logging equipment. Some serious logging would be nice.
Two Campers, two tractors AND Farming? Zero interest tbh. Not interested in the Rezvani tank either. If the camper bodies were removable, I might be interested. Honestly, I’m a bit surprised that Saber is still pushing scouts so hard after the way Expeditions was received.
Scouts are so pointless. If they are going to make them, why not make a map where they are useful. Event for scouting maps, there are better options that aren't Scout Class.

what will really annoy me if these vehicles AREN’T practical. And they likely won’t be if they don’t add another feature for the RV’s.

Tiny tractor is amazing, short log trailer too, big tractor also, but those RV's... come on, they should be a two variants of one truck

New vehicles look great! Always more fun scouting with scouts, and now I guess we don't need to drag that damn radar trailer behind us no more.

I would MUCH MORE prefer Unimog instead of these Campers.... but tractors seems actually good.

Honestly, those earthroamers are so out of place on those european roads. Also why are 2 out of the 4 trucks scouts??? Saber doesn't learn.
