The cover truck is actully sligthly different...notice that it has like a logging like body addon to carry those pipes...It might be beta testing variant or just simple photoshop to make it appear that way for the cover.
No way it’s the worst out of the options he picked. The ANK has the same size fuel tank and the 57x is limited to a stock suspension and no diff lock. He’s just wrong. It’s a decent low saddle tractor.
Is it the worst? That thing rips anytime you need to go through tight janky areas - the mega winch on the backside of it can be annoying but its manageable otherwise and the fuel tank isn't that bad... ironically I'd usually just drive the baby Tatra out if i needed fuel for it lol
small tatra 805 just needs its Special heavier tyres since its so light only 2.5 Tons and softer suspension like it has IRL bcs thats exactly why its bounces all around (currently it has too HARD suspension) + it needs ability to attach the scout trailers thats what will make it more usefull, and No, allways ON difflock isnt neccesary for it, it drives fine with AWD most of the time since its so Light weight
@@diprosla592 I agree with all except the scout trailers as I think we'd be better off getting proper trailers for small trucks. In my previous comment on this video I've described how small trucks (as well as wide trucks and trailers) would benefit from a rework of cargo system to be more granular (split of current 1 unit of cargo into 3x3), which would allow these small trucks to carry 2 of the smaller volume cargo (e.g. metal rolls) by fitting a properly-sized bed onto the truck and you could have a similarly sized single-axle trailer with truck hitch and wheels (proper height for truck) and even a short single-axle semi-trailer.
@@SD1ONEswap the classes of the Burlak 6x6 and Tatra 805, the burlak would benefit from a better engine so it can actually pull truck trailers, plus the autonomous winch doesn't have enough power to get it off its side. the 805 needs the autonomous winch and would generally fit better in the scout class
Western twin star is one of the best truck in the game this truck can pass any kind of terren with excellent power, but I can agree with truck balance with you it rolled out without any reason any where
A lot of trucks are good on their own but I am judging them based on the vehicle class they fall under...so its not necessarily the worse but less popular in its class.
@@SD1ONE I think that what you really mean is the worst trucks for universal use - which truck of the category can do the lowest variety of tasks well.
Some of these choices, I feel personally attacked. Also, you're right. Not going to stop me using Twinsteer everywhere just because it is so goofy to drive. Dishonorable mention: That Khan39 scout. If you put any kind of engine upgrade in the harsh transmission just pinwheels it off the road on upshift. It literally cannot drive in a straght line. Super annoying to drive, it's like trying to catch a greased pig.
I think one thing that hurts the Derry Special is that as a truck it isnt all that heavy. A heavier truck would lower the center of gravity and help the balance, the extra weight could help the grip in climbing if they aren't going to give it heavy tires, and the power to weight comes from an excellent engine nestled into a paperweight frame. That being said, I still enjoy using it when I can make it work.
What I actually like about the Derry Special is that it is a heavy that doesn't feel overpowered. It's kinda tippy, can still get stuck in deep mud and the way the wheels and the diff-lock behave under heavy loads can make it struggle a bit. All of these "quirks" still makes you rethink your approach rather than just being an easy-mode truck.
Yes, But It seems unfair when other trucks don't play by the rules...Its same with Tatra trucks...they feel real good but they can't do everything like others.
That whole free to keep thing is good for early game but by the time you're halfway thorough base game...money doesn't matter specially in normal mode where you can buy & sell trucks & upgrades at same price that you brought them.
I think the CAT scout isn’t as bad as ppl think it is. As long as there is no water involved, it is great for rescues. I used it in hard mode since you get multiple and it saved me from a few tipping situations
Noooo don't trashtalk my beloved ANK MK38 noooo ! It's still my favorite pick when I need to carry things and fuel isn't a problem. I find it's lower plus gear to be the ideal pace to go through many obstacles. Don't use mudtires, OHD are far better, the truck will cut deep mud with them.
Small 4x4 trucks are missing timestamp. I think the biggest limiting factor to their usefulness is the map design as they'd really benefit from existence of objectives, where you'd need to carry just one unit of cargo to a location only accessible through a narrow winding path that just wouldn't accommodate a bigger truck. The only instance of this that I've seen in SR so far is the task 'Forecast Unclear' on Lake Kovd, Kola Peninsula, but I've seen some great maps like this in mods for MR. Another thing that vastly limits the potential of small trucks is SR's cargo system, where the size of one unit of cargo is IMHO too big - if the unit was, for example, ninth of the current one by area (= third by length, so current unit split into 9 squares arranged 3x3), we could have the current 1 unit cargoes that take up the full area be 3x3 new units, but loads like metal rolls take full unit of load despite taking only ~2/3 of area, where it could take just 2x3 new units. This would allow small trucks to have 3x4 or 3x5 beds and therefore fit 2 cargo in some cases, while the wide beds (e.g. Wide Flatbed Semi-Trailer and Mastodon's wide sideboard) could also be set to be 4-6 new units wide and therefore carry 2 rows (effectively double) of some cargo, making both extremes much more viable options. This would require a significant rewrite to the current cargo system, but it would allow so much more variety in the game and with little additional effort adding a lot of utility to many existing trucks & trailers. For Tatra 813 IMHO the best combo is the standard sideboard with 2 Ramped Flatbed Trailers, where winch point in the rear center allows you to pull them nicely one behind the other, taking 10 units of cargo in total, making the Tatra 813 quite an efficient hauler per unit of cargo both in terms of fuel and time without overloading (1 trip with Tatra 813 = 2 trips with other truck with 5 unit semitrailer). This, of course, only applies for trips where you have enough cargo to transport and the path isn't nice enough for a (highway) 6x4 with semitrailer or completely a deep mud or snow. I love that this truck made for pulling (mainly) armored vehicles (pulls up to 100t IRL) is actually great at pulling heavy loads in SR. I think that in SR Tatra Phoenix is worse than 813 in everything except having a (great) crane and fuel cistern, because Phoenix's all-wheel steering makes anything you're pulling take significantly smaller radius in curve than the truck, making it completely useless for pulling long or wide semitrailers or long trailers like Ramped Flatbed Trailer (of which 813 can easily pull 2), limiting you to basically 4 units of cargo (taking the Sideboard Trailer). I think it'd be much better if instead of this Phoenix we got the 6x6 Agrotruck, which has just front and rear steering axle and really fat tires, or went completely unhinged with 12x12 (front 2 and rear 2 steering axles) with bed for ~5 units of cargo a long log carrier and a double short/medium log carrier. 6x4 trucks are great fuel trucks IMHO, because then you always have the load on your rear axles, so you only need to avoid high-centering your truck and deep mud. I consider it a self-propelled fuel trailer with added benefit of free & instant recovery in easy mode.
@@SD1ONE This cargo system revamp could also give the chance to deliver very small units of cargo on tiny beds (pickups), space inside (Loaf is just empty!) and maybe roof racks. For example, "vehicle spare parts" have 3 boxes in it, so we could transport 1 or 2 of them in small scouts
Ankatra is the worst farming tractor. Not that capably offroad or in mud compared to the other tractors, burns a lot of fuel and has a small fuel tank. Haven't used that POS since the last season, probably would sold it if I wasn't a collector and wanted 1 of every vehicle. I'll definitely pick the K-700 and day over that.
Its ok to disagree....I personally think Ankatra has far better handling than K700. Most people judge it by the first field of Season 14 which was extraordinarily muddy but normally fields are not that muddy and Ankatra do fine there.
@@SD1ONE I did take it past the first field but even going down the trails to the next field it still struggles in even relatively small mud holes, and that's with the double tires. And like I said it's like the Azov 53, it burns way too much fuel for the small tank it has. Overall I don't like it much.
@@justinlynch3 Small tank is not much of issue because, You've to have a spare fuel trailer for farming with every tractor except FEMM and farming is what I judge them from nothing else matter much because why would you even use them otherwise
Gotta defend Tattra T803 its a capable heavy in most of base maps. It can take care of most of the missions maybe slow but steady. If you want to progress calmly but steady its a perfect starter.
@ Yeah sadly. Its more like a collector vehicle but it looks cool and the engine sound isnt bad either. Its an odd package with the other Tatra but it worth the money on sale
@@abelszerepi7845 With Tatras, We have to agree with one thing...they look & feel real than other trucks whether its their unique addons or that suspension...they just look right but other trucks are in mod zone with every addon possible avaialble to them which makes this scenario where Tatra is playing by the book but others don't.
- Yeah, the small scouts aren't good with trailers. But without them, a lot nicer to drive. But I agree, the DON is easily the weakest of the bunch. Literally and figuratively. - Telehandler is good offroad, and has good fuel consumption, but yeah, it's not good. Like you said, it's powerful but lacks utility. - Agreed. I don't like using the Ford CLT much. It's just... awkward to drive somehow. The long wheelbase and small tired are not a good combo. - Oh man... The Sprinter was made for one thing and it doesn't even do that well. The only thing I've found it to do actually well is follow train tracks with All-Terrain tires at a decent speed. That's it. XD - Oof, ANK is _thirsty!_ - Yeah, the Freighliner is... I don't know, it's not nice to drive. And needing a trailer with fuel, or a caravan to fuel it is unnecessary hassle. - Yeah... P16 is one of my favorite heavies, but I won't deny that it's definitely lacking in some crucial regards. - Agreed. The Tatra 818 mod for MudRunner was a powerhouse, and I was so hyped to see it in a DLC here. But then I saw what it did and it was... underwhelming. - Ugh... I've always hated articulated steering, and the K700 in Snowrunner was never that good in my experience. - Oh yeah, the Twinsteer is... it's just not practical for almost any map or region. It's like extra-hard mode. - The Antarctic... Articulated steering wrecks again. There's just nothing about the thing I like. I don't know if it's me, but even upgraded, it just seems weak. - Derry seems like it's very specifically NOT an all-rounder, not for climbing.
Firstly Thanks for such detailed comment & This comments tells me that you watched full video & I am glad that you agree...Also thanks for being my subscriber for 6 years...Thanks for your support.
@@SD1ONE I always watch your full videos. At least the ones that interest me. I will admit I don't much care about GTA V. XD But damn, it's been six years already? Where's the time gone?
I love the ANK Mk38, its such a good truck for scouting, even though its not its intended purpose. it's also a decent recovery truck, and it is quite fast and fun to drive. my least favourite regular 6x6 is probably the GMC 9500
Alot of trucks in this game need to be buffed. Any of them that don’t have diff lock and or AWD and or both need to be given both (obviously dead axels should remain as a dead axel). All the scouts (all the small ones) need to be buffed and need to be given trailer access even with spare tire and all the big ones minus the tuz needs a slight buff to everything cause the big tuz is pretty much the only one I use other than the loadstar 1700
@@SD1ONE Well the terrain is ultimately the same no matter what truck you happen to drive at the time, and cargo is cargo. Certan trucks are simply clearly worse and making missions different won't help it. You'll still be more inclined to pick a better truck.
I think paystar is a lot worse than the twinsteer. It burns extreme amounts of fuel. Has funny miniscule tires, is tippy and not that offroad capable. Only useful with large fuel tank add-on as a support vehicle but cat 745 fits that role much better. Twinsteer on the other hand is a beast. Almost impossible to stuck on any terrain. Great with offroad tranny and super fast and effcient with highway tranny. It's one of the best trucks in the game for special purposes and very fast cargo transportation. Takes a bit time to master driving it but after that its indispensable. When you get used to it you will know on which maps to use it and very rarely tip it.
Azov Sprinter needs a buff. It should be moved to Scout class, get acout class perks and ability to use truck trailers. Also needs more fuel/repair parts. It's a "sport" truck IRL, so it needs to be a scout
Twin Steer needs to be able to attach trailers and a stability improvement, that's just two tweaks they can do in the truck file, not even an hour of work, they know we have been asking that for a long time. They don't even need to change the design of the back it already is perfectly trailer capable.
I don't really agree on CAT TH357, sure it's not as good as Tatarin, but it still works pretty good as scout if there's no water. It has very good offroad capabilities and very large fuel tank for it's fuel consumption. I used it to explore maps on PT server when i didn't have Tatarin. Also i understand that you rate Antarctica very low, but on Amur and Kola Peninsula it's very usefull being one of the best offroaders in the game, especially in snow. I even bought a second one for transport duties on amur region.
Yes, CAT can work as a scout but its still kind of limited use...Antarctic is nice but FEMM is basically better antarctic also for past 2 years we're not getting any map hard enough for Antarctic to shine.
@@SD1ONE true, but in really hard conditions i prefer Antarctica. But yeah, Kola Peninsula and Amur are the only really hard regions. Sad we didn't see more of that sort, Siberia is so big, there's enough places for new regions. Kamtschatka with some volcanos would be very nice.
Yes a log grapple would make it 10 times better...Lifting those logs from ground can be a pain sometimes with crane...CAT would shine there and In real life it has that logging attachement.
Oddly enough I find myself using the ANK MK38 as a scout more than anything else but knowing it will need to be refueled by another truck once it arrives at its destination
I think the versatility of addons is not really relevant during actual playing. When the garage is leaved one addon is installed, so every truck becomes one addon truck until i return it. If i need only a 2 size bed, then ANK and tatra are my favourites. If i do not need them i leave them on the map, and deploy some other truck to do more specific job. Using a swiss knife for its blade only worse than using a single knife for ist blade.
Probably not gonna be noticed, but I feel like Ford F750, international loadstar, Rezvani Hercules, and Chevy Apache could be grouped as a midsize scout class
i disagree with the WS 6900, the International is worse IMO, the facted that you cant cross even to another map is a huuuge point against it, WS is really good, you just need to plan a little, also dont use doubles, you are hurting yourself with those tires, i think it needs that buff you mention, the oil platform from the mod, that would help it a lot
WS twinsteer requires skill to handle and most people lack that skill but If you can handle it then I can see why would you choose it over International
They really need to go ahead and remove that whinch setup in the back of the M916, I'd try out the truck with all its flaws no problem if it weren't for the fact that it's a saddle only tractor which every single trailer type collides with that big whinch setup, making it feel terrible to drive. Removing that metal chunk from it would instantaneously make it jump a few spots from the bottom of the bottom at the very least
Top tip just use what ever you can use I use a ank51 m35a2 mod because I never stop using it but one that work without mods is the 8x8 army crine with the bed and maxed engine
Just a few thoughts, not that I disagree with the choices: The DAN 71 is the worst scout in the base game. Yet recently I find myself using it more than any other scout, only because I like the Lada Niva. 😁 My favourite "large scout" is the Azov 5 with Maintenance addon. Great cross country, fast, unlimited fuel, can refuel whatever truck I send after it when I inevitably roll over. The Azov Sprinter is a massive let down. Even for racing the Grad or the Tayga beats it with ease. Sad face, as the real life Kamaz Master rally truck is an unbeatable monster. I simply don't get the Azov Antarctic. Designed for the most hostile environment on Earth, without full time diff lock, a few meters of chains for ice, or even room for a spanner in that giant cabin. Keep up the good work!
Yeah, Lada Niva, I watched real life videos of that car and man its a monster...Really capable car but Don 71 is nowhere close sadly Azov 5 like I said is very good performer but I hesitate to use it as cargo hauler because of fuel issue. Spinter is a lost cause and I don't think anything can help it...maybe autowinch hmm...Antarctic can really benifit from always ON diff...that would be like an edge over FEMM.
I mostly agree. I do disagree with a couple of your choices, though: I find the Tatra 813 more useful than the Bandit. The Bandit is just too bouncy and unstable. I think the WS Twinsteer is more useful than the 10x10 Paystar. The WS can carry 4 slots, meaning you can complete a lot of missions in one trip without a trailer, then recover to the garage. I also like the K700 best for farming, so long as it doesn't get stuck. The wheels fit the furrows very well, making it easy to drive straight. If it's really muddy, then the big boys are better. I also would have split up the 6x6s into "less extreme" and "more extreme" categories, with the heavy-duties and a couple of off-road trucks, like the Royal BM17 and Step 310E in the "less extreme" group, and trucks like the Taygas and Vorons etc. in the "more extreme" group.
The azov 5... is awesome. I have my lineup like this: one longrange truck, one for towing heavy stuff and two small and fast ones. If I need to drive a bit longer ill take the voron grad, otherwise i will take the azov. it doesnt deserve the dishonorable mention. its great in its field. you wouldnt call the kolob bad because of its lack of a flatbead beacause thats not its field.
Agreed, it's very versatile with a choice of add ons, plus it's extremely fast and pulls strong with highway transmission on H gear. Also doesn't take any frontal damage. It was great on the easier maps of Amur carrying two large pipes at once. One on the trailer one hold with the vinch, going blazing fast.
CAT 770G has missed out to qualify as high sadle ones, resulted to putting P16 on last place. It has nowhere to use other than mobile gas station(although it's not good with RWD only), but unfortunally you *must* drive this damned truck *twice* to have 100% progress in Yukon.
CAT 770G can't be classified as high sadle...It's unique heavy saddle with its own trailer that you can only use once in a DLC region...I wish it was base game vehicle so that it could be added to other DLCs as well.
Freightliner M916A1 has saddle high also. So I use for saddle high only. Yeah not the best but I get it on a mission for free. Fuel tank is small. Roof rack would be nice. Anyway I like the look of this truck. Low saddle trailer glitches same on saber. Another thing what not corrected in the years... Thanks for the video, finaly not another what is the best comparition :)
I don't think M916A1 would be a great high sadle tractor either because heavy trailers are too heavy for a truck this light also the legs on those trailer can get stuck in terrain if your tractor doesn't have enough height which M9 doesn't....still if it works for you good....
that freightliner works well pulling the heavy trailer that has ramps. it also works well with getting some of those large heavy trailers in tight places. some of the delivery locations just suck with larger trucks
err.. wat? This is just a stupid argument. For one: Forester is a great truck, capable, very fun to drive and with the best logging crane. It is without a shred of doubt the best medium/short logger in the game unless you're either suffering from chronic blindness or have personal vendetta against its real life counterpart for some reason. Only the big CAT rivals it. For two, there's a difference between being limited because of role specialization and just being limited. Forester can only do logging because it's a specialized logger and it IS good at it. T813 can only deliver basic cargo, not because it's 'specialized' but because it's just limited. Mind you, I used T813 quite a lot actually, I even took it into a deep dark forest (Amur) and unlocked ZikZ 605R with it. It's a decent offroader, but there are better even in the same class, and lack of addons makes it just so depressingly boring I never touched it since my Amur run (and I don't even run around with 605R often).
@ahriman935 I used the Forester alot too and don't really see what it has over a truck with a logging frame except for the part that it has a log crane which you will maybe need like once or twice
@@Angelthewolf In my experience a whole lot of logging missions take you through (surprise surprise...) the trees, and overall particularly narrow paths, where Forester (being articulated) is so much easier to manoeuvre than classic trucks. I overall find it just a very nice truck to drive and I would use it a whole lot more if it was capable of more than logging. edit: and if it had a roof rack [equivalent], I'm kind of a sucker for extra supplies. But I digress.
Are we ever going to get an American 8×6 wirh duals? The closest truck the international twin steer is too long. The Mack and Derry are 8×8 close enough, but no duals. The Kenworth T800 as a tri-drive with wide steer tires would be perfect, they already have Kenworth in the game. I know mods exist, but a vanilla truck would be appreciated. I know technically there are 8×6 American trucks such as the Western Star 49X it's not as relatable. I'm certain you will find more tri-drive 8×6 trucks than 6×6, 8×6 tag axle, or 8×8 on American roads.
I love Tatra 813, but you need to download mods because of the addons. I dont know what problem Saber has with Tatra, but Tatras are one of the worst DLC trucks in the game. Yet in real life one of the most capable of its class.
Nah Tatra 805 is the worst large 4X4 not an honourable mention. I've used the Spinter as a scout and it's pretty capable. Good balance, quick, Okay-ish in mud. Sure if compared to a 6X6 or 8X8 it gets destroyed obviously, but I scout mostly with the 4X4's or small 6X6's like the Apache, Hercules or Yar. Spinter by comparison can hold it's own.
@@SD1ONE With an auto winch it may be alright, still drives horribly though. I haven't dtiven it in a while, but isn't the 805 like the Actaeon where it's always swaying left to right and can't drive in a straight line? I do remember the 805 is also tippy. I still say the Sprinter is a better scout. Having the auto winch as a crutch so it can safe itself from roll overs every 2 seconds doesn't make it a better vehicle overall.
I would’ve picked the cat as the worst monstrous 6x6, because it does pretty much the same stuff as the Antarctic, but with severely less frame attachments. Also, where is the cat 770G?
The Pacific trucks were always meant to be logging trucks. The devs did the Pacific line dirty by making them weak. Really sad, use a nice Pacific mod to make them better.
The game actually seems to have issues with really big vehicles... something like the huge Kenworth with its gigantic engine should basically shatter the earth if you hit the gas too hard yet often it struggles to move on almost flat, level ground...
Oh, Don't get me wrong, I love P16 as well...It's one of my favorite trucks but objectively its outclassed by other heavy haulers IMO...However I would still use P16 over them just for the vibes.
Good Day together. I need something to say to the Tatra T813. Yes, He isn't strong, but in love the T 813 as a Scout Rescue Truck. He hast the best constructed Car Slide Bed in the Hole Game. I don't wont to say the other Beds are bad. But i think the other Beds are limited. This small Bed is unlimited,i think. And i love to drove the T 813 with his unique Car Bed, and i drove him trough a lot Terrain. So please try and frendly Greetings from Germany.
I think CAT 745C is worse than Antartic. It hasn't got snorkel and can't attach trailers. So Antarctic is the best superheavy in base game, but if you want to have more useful superheavies, you should buy DLC.
I've flipped the antarctic more or less every time I've taken it out. I've only got the 745 stuck one time, and it was due to physics fuckery when I tried to take a cross a bridge that it was too big for. It's my go-to refueling truck if there's no tight corridors to go through. I've literally never used the antarctic for anything other than trying it out a few times when I got it
@joshmorgan1948 In your scenario K-7M will be more useful, because it has resque addon and more capable. Antarctic is for delivering cargo in very hard conditions. Of course, they are rare conditions, but 745C is useless there. However, we must say 605R and Femm is much better, so you can use them instead Antarctic, CAT and even the other class trucks 😉 If you haven't maps with 605R and Femm, you can buy Mastodon. It has all addons and as capable as 605R in common scenarios
6:00 really? I would chosen the purple dlc thing(I forgot it's name) as the worst, I hated how it handled, its fuel tank is tiny, and its underpowered as fuck
Its not what devs addresses as problem...its intentional...however there's a mod now to somewhat fix that...I haven't tried it myself but you can see comparision on youtube by other creators
Yeah, I actually know that mod, I’ve searched for it too, but I couldn’t find it! But recently in Black River when I was doing the task “local entertainment” the CK 1500 had actually a frame flexing on the rocks! (I am still in Black river becouse I had to start from 0 with the new pc configuration) Thanks for letting me know! Keep it up!🔥
Warthog used to be a lot worse before the latest updates, It was extremely tippy with big tires and crane, almost unusable. They've made it a lot stable now. Still not great but I would say it is pretty ok and driveable right now.
Why? P512 and Kenworth both have special tires (default tires) and always on diff-lock making them far more capable offroad then the clt that only has normal UOD II tires and no diff-lock. Pretty sure the Kenworth can do everything the clt can and do it much better. Not sure if the P512 supports triple crane/bed/trailer combo or not, but it's still a far more capable truck overall. So why would he pick the clt over either of those? Clt and Transtar are objective the two worse.
@@Yakuzer86 Oh OK. Well this is a Worst Trucks competition. So the "Winner" of the worst truck award was the clt9000. Mean the clt is the worst truck. That's how this video operates. Though I can see how that could be potentially confusing.
A lot of trucks are good on their own but I am judging them based on the vehicle class they fall under...so its not necessarily the worse but less popular in its class.
@@SD1ONEpersonally i use it by far the most out of the long frame trucks, the terrible fuel consumption of the paystar ts is a killer for me, the atom and the azov 7 are good but i find the twinsteer really useful for getting 4 slots of cargo pretty much anywhere pretty quickly
The Defenders... oh god. I played around with those small, closest-to-actual-vehicles-you-might-see-on-the-street scouts and they're just..... My favorite test of a vehicle is the garage on the second map of British Columbia, the spawn spot is uniquely, already in the somewhat deep mud. The more modern defender couldn't even leave there without winching from a more capable truck. Despite being fully upgraded.
Lol, anyone who thinks the Ank and Fleetstar are the worst in the 6x6 class is just holding up a card saying "hi im a bad player" same thing with the p16, I've done every single big trailer contract in the game with the p16 and it's a great truck, again, like the other two, it requires player skill, not a reliance on overpowered vehicles. I literally cannot comprehend calling the twinsteer the worst of the decktrucks, it is far and above better than the other 3, and in my opinion, the best overall truck in the game, with the Anks 2nd and the p16 third lol. We have disagreements at a base level on how this game should be played. Aside from those arguments I pretty much agree with the rest, I'd say the H2 is pretty bad too
ANK - Bold choice... It is quite useful in time trials... Maybe Step 310E? It has one advantage, it is very economical, but apart from that it is the weakest. Azov 5 - They should finally fix this crane and allow for a trailer. They improved Tatra, so why didn't they improve Azov 5? International Paystar 5600TS - In my opinion the main problem is the lack of power. If it had more power, fuel consumption would drop.
Army ANK is excellent for places like Island Lake, Michigan, where you have a lot of small deliveries to make in a muddy terrain and plenty of fuel trailers scattered everywhere. The civilian version is only practical if equipped with fuel cistern because of how high fuel consumption ANKs have when pulling anything, but if you need something to get Generator anywhere and have some additional fuel for it and other trucks, ANK Civilian is your friend. I use Step 310E mostly for medium logs without a trailer, where its efficiency often saves you a need for detour to refuel or a need to "meet" some fuel truck/trailer on the route. Very few trucks can pull a double load of medium logs and even if they can it often isn't worth it in terms of time and fuel - you can make the same route faster and cheaper in something like Step 310E. It's not suited for routes with too much deep mud though... White Western Star is similar in many regards, having higher fuel consumption compensated by bigger fuel tank, but the wider stance helps it on routes with side slopes.
@@Daddo22 Step 310E with 2x medium logs? I usually take a crane, short logs and a trailer for medium logs (if there is one on the map) and transport it unpacked. But you have 3 great suggestions for 2x medium logs. Varon AE (with standard gearbox), Tayga B and HX520... Each of them is better.
@SD1ONE I am sorry for being rude, but, like, you can ask someone to control your text before release, you know? Otherwise, it brings down the quality of the whole video, and that's not what your content deserves! ;) Sorry for being that salty, but it really caught me off guard, I did not expect such mistake to appear....
I have to admire how the devs are determined to never fix the Freightliner.
there's not much they can do...least they could do is bigger fuel tank & better tires
@SD1ONE All of these would be tolerable, but a semi-tractor that can't haul semi-trailers is a huge failure.
Last time they did something for it was fixing a steering issue, it was even worse.
They had to remove that useless garbage on its back
The fact the Freightliner is the worst semi truck, yet is the cover art truck, is hilarious.
The cover truck is actully sligthly different...notice that it has like a logging like body addon to carry those pipes...It might be beta testing variant or just simple photoshop to make it appear that way for the cover.
@@SD1ONEit’s photoshop they have a another cover made in the exact same way but with a westernstar TwinSteer instead
@ I personally love it, too. It does annoy me how it can’t turn with most trailers, and it has such a small fuel tank. I still love it.
Tatra DLC need buff, small Tatra need reworked, maybe dicclock always on, bit bigger tires. Tatra813 need more addons - logs, maintaner/tank
small tatra 805 just needs its Special heavier tyres since its so light only 2.5 Tons and softer suspension like it has IRL bcs thats exactly why its bounces all around (currently it has too HARD suspension)
+ it needs ability to attach the scout trailers thats what will make it more usefull,
and No, allways ON difflock isnt neccesary for it, it drives fine with AWD most of the time since its so Light weight
just move tatara 805 in scout class with all scout perks and it'll rock
Dicclock
It's "the worst" not "the worse" truck.
Otherwise great video, as usual.
Twinsteer should get trailer hitch at least. Femm also have 4 slot bed and can attach trailers
Super annoying to drive, it's like trying to catch a greased pig.
however khan is like best small scout in mud...It has a character unlike Rock Grinder
2:42 Also, the Transtar can be found for practically free, while you have to go out and buy the CLT.
That whole free to keep thing is good for early game but by the time you're halfway thorough base game...money doesn't matter specially in normal mode where you can buy & sell trucks & upgrades at same price that you brought them.
P-12 for me is the worst heavy by far. I don't know if it's a glitch on the switch version, but the truck has no traction at all and constantly slips.
Yeah its like a liitle racer on OHDs...biggest challenge is to not flip it 5 times over while going fast
I agree with your cargo system revamp, I think split & pack cargo methoid that spintires used can solve a lot of issues...
@@justinlynch3 Small tank is not much of issue because, You've to have a spare fuel trailer for farming with every tractor except FEMM and farming is what I judge them from nothing else matter much because why would you even use them otherwise
watching this after school, another well done video with a throughout analysis
Gotta defend Tattra T803 its a capable heavy in most of base maps. It can take care of most of the missions maybe slow but steady. If you want to progress calmly but steady its a perfect starter.
Yes, In early game it can be useful but In DLCs with other newer trucks unlocked...I think its way behind competition
@@SD1ONE 100% agree
Pacific p16 only Michigan truck can stock pull. Not repaired white western star. Got best mud tires except for tuz tatarin
That's it. XD
- Oof, ANK is _thirsty!_
- Yeah, the Freighliner is...
XD
But damn, it's been six years already? Where's the time gone?
The twinsteer is my go to truck when it comes to delivery 4-8 cargos to a really hard place to get to
love the Tatra 314 and use it as my main large scout
Whats the name of the mod for the P16?
I think instead of buffing trucks...game mission struction & terrain difficulty need improvement
@@SD1ONE
Well the terrain is ultimately the same no matter what truck you happen to drive at the time, and cargo is cargo.
Не чекав я побачити нове відео!❤
Imma disagree with the telehandler, it's the best for loading logs on trucks, if it had a log grapple it would rock, but it works.
Yes a log grapple would make it 10 times better...Lifting those logs from ground can be a pain sometimes with crane...CAT would shine there and In real life it has that logging attachement.
Never thought of using that for log loading. Nice thinking outside the box there.
I don't think you can really hate on the telehandler too much since it's really only in the game to serve a niche purpose of packing cabins in Yukon.
Top tip just use what ever you can use I use a ank51 m35a2 mod because I never stop using it but one that work without mods is the 8x8 army crine with the bed and maxed engine
Just a few thoughts, not that I disagree with the choices:
The DAN 71 is the worst scout in the base game. Yet recently I find myself using it more than any other scout, only because I like the Lada Niva. 😁
My favourite "large scout" is the Azov 5 with Maintenance addon.
Yeah, Lada Niva, I watched real life videos of that car and man its a monster...Really capable car but Don 71 is nowhere close sadly
Azov 5 like I said is very good performer but I hesitate to use it as cargo hauler because of fuel issue.
Spinter is a lost cause and I don't think anything can help it...maybe autowinch
hmm...Antarctic can really benifit from always ON diff...that would be like an edge over FEMM.
I mostly agree. I do disagree with a couple of your choices, though:
I find the Tatra 813 more useful than the Bandit.
What mod did you use for the Pacific P-16? Please send a link.
i use the Ford CLK9000 quite a bit, its really good on fuel, though I do with it had locking Diffs,
CAT 770G has missed out to qualify as high sadle ones, resulted to putting P16 on last place.
The T813 isn‘t fair when we put the Forester in that category too imo, the Forester can only do one thing and it‘s not even that good at it
err..
Forestor being bad at logging isn't a popular belive IMHO
@ahriman935 I used the Forester alot too and don't really see what it has over a truck with a logging frame except for the part that it has a log crane which you will maybe need like once or twice
I stopped using the forester after I figured out it can't make it up any real incline it's like the big kenworth, a little underpowered.
@@Angelthewolf
In my experience a whole lot of logging missions take you through (surprise surprise...) the trees, and overall particularly narrow paths, where Forester (being articulated) is so much easier to manoeuvre than classic trucks.
I overall find it just a very nice truck to drive and I would use it a whole lot more if it was capable of more than logging.
edit: and if it had a roof rack [equivalent], I'm kind of a sucker for extra supplies. But I digress.
5:58 - i use it as fuel truck. for quick fuel delivery )
yes, It can work as very good fuel truck
The m916a1 would be my favorite truck if it had a bigger fuel tank
King have uploaded a video 🎉
Lmao the azov race truck is litterally my go to scout
I think Tatra is just in wrong class...It should be a scout & As a scout it would do well with autowinch but Sprinter on other hand is hopeless IMO
I drive the f600 alot just because I love it and modded large international scout better tires.
I did all of the hardest missions whit the p16 and he was never stop maybe I’m a little bias cause I’m Canadien but still he always do it in the end
So please try and frendly Greetings from Germany.
deberian añadir una actualizacion que permitiera instalar / cambiar cualquier bocina en cualquier camion a otro
I've literally never used the antarctic for anything other than trying it out a few times when I got it
I find the Cat perfect for vehicle recovery, scouting and fuel supply
@MrCrowtheKing In your scenario K-7M will be more useful, because it has resque addon and more capable
@joshmorgan1948 In your scenario K-7M will be more useful, because it has resque addon and more capable. Antarctic is for delivering cargo in very hard conditions. Of course, they are rare conditions, but 745C is useless there. However, we must say 605R and Femm is much better, so you can use them instead Antarctic, CAT and even the other class trucks 😉
If you haven't maps with 605R and Femm, you can buy Mastodon. It has all addons and as capable as 605R in common scenarios
Yes, it does less but it does those perfectly. With Antarctic on the other hand you're always on the verge of tipping.
6:00 really? I would chosen the purple dlc thing(I forgot it's name) as the worst, I hated how it handled, its fuel tank is tiny, and its underpowered as fuck
you mean bandit...it has roofrack for more fuel, its crane is one the best & It handles good with semitrailer & dually wheels that it got recently.
Sorry sd1one, but i didn't understand the meaning of this video? It's top bad truck?? Then why is not the ankatra in tractors?
I tried Ankatra & I think its better for faming than Kirovets, If you disagree then fine...We all play this game differently afterall.
@SD1ONE we can disagree, right, but my point here, is you put at "worst of all", the one i most use because i think It is "the BEST of all" 🤣🤣
Bro, did the SnowRunner devs resolve the suspention and frame flexing problem in the game?!
(I am still in Black river becouse I had to start from 0 with the new pc configuration)
Thanks for letting me know! Keep it up!🔥
There are only three bad trucks in SnowRunner: CAT 770G, TUZ 108 Warthog, and Kirovets K-7M. The rest is player's inexperience.
Warthog used to be a lot worse before the latest updates, It was extremely tippy with big tires and crane, almost unusable. They've made it a lot stable now. Still not great but I would say it is pretty ok and driveable right now.
@@TrentHavoc Warthog is bad only because we have TUZ 16 Acteon, which can do the same staff better. K-7M is the best ultimate off-roader
@@nordlordthe_dark_blue_drag512 K-7M is the best ultimate off-roader if you like to drive on a straight line forever.
@@TrentHavoc Even if you were right, K-7M wouldn't be one of the worst trucks
Я хочу бачити від тебе відповіді!
You should look into Spell Check. Holy shit guy.
Wow, picking clt9000 instead of kenworth/P512 is diabolical
P512 is beast in pure mud. Same with kenworth. Not to mention kenworth have so much fuel.
@@justinlynch3He said that clt is winner in 6x4 class, instead of p512 or Kenny, thats what im sayin
@@Yakuzer86 it's about the worst in the class
@@Yakuzer86 Oh OK. Well this is a Worst Trucks competition. So the "Winner" of the worst truck award was the clt9000. Mean the clt is the worst truck.
That's how this video operates. Though I can see how that could be potentially confusing.
how dare you insult my boy the twinsteer, it's one of the fastest vehicles in the game, and only unstable if driven incorrectly
A lot of trucks are good on their own but I am judging them based on the vehicle class they fall under...so its not necessarily the worse but less popular in its class.
@@SD1ONEpersonally i use it by far the most out of the long frame trucks, the terrible fuel consumption of the paystar ts is a killer for me, the atom and the azov 7 are good but i find the twinsteer really useful for getting 4 slots of cargo pretty much anywhere pretty quickly
winner here means the worst vehicle xD
How is most of his choices my favorite trucks?LOL
Huh, where are the 10 wheel trucks? Like azov 73210
long frame truck class
@@SD1ONEOh, I'm blind 😅, sorry, great video
Is this the "worst" or the "best"
Surprised you didn't name and shame the Defenders. Especially the modern one. They are both completely useless
I think they have a lot of fans and nothing wrong with fan service but MTB isn't even that popular in India (the vehicle that its based off is Indian)
Dude no the tweinsteer is the best in its class hello?
I love ank, its short range speed deliverer, 40miles p/h on hiway, or 20 for offroad
Can someone help me
Lol, anyone who thinks the Ank and Fleetstar are the worst in the 6x6 class is just holding up a card saying "hi im a bad player" same thing with the p16, I've done every single big trailer contract in the game with the p16 and it's a great truck, again, like the other two, it requires player skill, not a reliance on overpowered vehicles.
I literally cannot comprehend calling the twinsteer the worst of the decktrucks, it is far and above better than the other 3, and in my opinion, the best overall truck in the game, with the Anks 2nd and the p16 third lol. We have disagreements at a base level on how this game should be played.
Aside from those arguments I pretty much agree with the rest, I'd say the H2 is pretty bad too
so what are your picks for worst in class with proper reasoning ofcourse... because otherwise this comment is not much useful to me
How dare you besmirch the sacred names of Fleetstar and Twinsteer. I'll be using those until the end of time. Unsubscribed.
Jk, I love your videos.
Step-310 is only bad compared to other russian 6x6 trucks, compared to the american ones it's still among the best.
@@sturmovik_80 No, it's wheels are too small. Even the GMC MH9500 has 3 inches bigger and handles mud better.

DUDE, it's THE WORST, not WORSE! 😆
Man..you're fired up...Engish is not my native language, I agree its a silly mistake...I'll be more careful next time.
@SD1ONE I am sorry for being rude, but, like, you can ask someone to control your text before release, you know? Otherwise, it brings down the quality of the whole video, and that's not what your content deserves! ;)
Sorry for being that salty, but it really caught me off guard, I did not expect such mistake to appear....
