love Gorillaz, Damon is brilliant I don't think they did a bad track. not true about they are animated due to a young member its what Damon wanted to do after Blur, he disliked all the press stuff that goes with the music business, he enjoyed that the animation allowed him to step back from limelight to just concentrate on the creative side of things, give Tender by Blur a listen. They use their fame and popularity to showcase other artists who might not see mainstream success and also occasionally collaborate with huge stars like Elton John and Mos Def. Theyre always genuine and amazing. Please check out all of the sound machine videos in order! You wont regret it!

In the 90s, songs would often feel unfinished, ending abruptly, or sounding slightly imperfect. The most obvious example that comes to mind is "what I got" by sublime. I don't know for sure, but I think a lot of the songs on the first gorillaz album were intended to sound unfinished, or imperfect, but in an interesting way.

19-2000 is good if you listen to the Soulchild remix version otherwise it sounds incomplete.
