Bigdog, you saved me time and a lot of money ( plumber wanted $125 per faucet) plus my water bill. Plus you are a wordsmith, and hilarious. Thanks a million
Thank you very much for this video. I appreciate that you included women as being the person who might be doing the repair. Loved your humor and it made the video fun as well as instructional.
ive got that same style faucet thats leaking from the bottom im just having trouble picking the correct thing i need to order from amazon to fix your like to pin point. i need to replace the handle screws and i guess the bottom washer you were showing any direct links. also great video deff what i need to get the job actually done on my old house that was built in the 1923
Oh man. Thank you so dang much for this, saved me a pretty penny fixing this myself as I watched with my belly jiggling with laughing. You’re the best!!!
Any tips on how to get that first nut (first you removed) loose? I've thrown everything I have at it..... I'm trying to avoid cutting into the drywall behind it and replacing the whole assembly....
Omg😂 I am here trying to DIY and fix my outdoor spigot that has a slow leak but I can’t focus because although you are really good, clear and easy to follow, I can’t stop laughing long enough and I keep missing the important parts of the video. You cracked me up my ribs hurt. Thanks I would give you a million likes if I could. You rock and should consider a comedy channel. Really you are funny.😘😘😘👏👏👏
@@leeb.7188 I thought so too, but I don't think that's right after all. The color pattern on the handles is a little different and the mold looks like a different shape. Also the metal on his is dark with a few shiny spots and it has a distinct V jaw with the ratchet part very unique looking. There is no Craftsman name anywhere. The ones linked in the desc are not even close to these. Where is the channel owner? 🤔🤔
We are going to be 0 degrees MOnday and my West side faucet is dripping!! ;( Saw your very informative and entertaining video, thank you I'm gonna give it a try!
@@StatUpBox ya. Unfortunately I totally messed up the screw in it now it’s useless. I’m thinking about grinding the head down to get the handle off to change the washer any ideas?
Went from dreading this little job to looking forward to it after watching your video. Awesome job.

Great job explaining and showing us how to repair the faucet; and, you have a great sense of humor. Thank you.

Can someone tell where to find the exact parts for this type of faucet?? Having a devil of a time finding parts..
The gate valve is stuck on mine and won’t come off. Any advice?
Thanks
Please help. We loose the scruw in the faucet and do not find it. What I can do to replace. (No hardware have it). Thanks
Lol, get another screw that width and cut it short if you can’t find one that short, your hardware store should def have some type of similar screw
Thank you for this
No problem 😊
Good video Thanks 😁
*uses channel locks on everything*

@@StatUpBox good stuff. Just rebuilt the spigot on my house using this video. Thank you!
Great man
I want those exact slip joint pliers. I don't see them on the amazon link. Can you tell me the exact brand and model?
They’re Craftsman (sold at Lowe’s). Craftsman was purchased by Stanley and now sells thru Lowe’s and Ace Hardware.

How do you repair the bottom spout?
You are funny!
We try 👍💪😁
What do you do if the screw that holds the handle on won’t come off
Have u tried loosening oil or w40 overnight

Have you tried Vice grips. Or a damage screw remover drill bit tool. Or Rubber band with screwdriver. Hope this helps. Good. Luck
@@michaelpiper5795did u fix it
what about teflon?

😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
@@StatUpBox the "or both" bit almost killed me 😂
