Trust me Texas chainsaw massacre is the scariest movie I've ever seen
Put this video on in the background while at work because it was in my recommended, but I found myself very much enjoying it (Even when I was just a couple seconds in)! Im surprised it doesn’t have more views and likes! Keep up the amazing work
I hear what you’re saying about the slowness. The first time I watched I didn’t like it, and that’s because the first 40 minutes are sorta slow. Outside of the voiceover introduction(which is iconic). But yeah, I really didn’t like Franklin, Sally, or the rest of their group. And the way they just walked into the house because they were lost felt really uninspired. With that said, the movie stuck with me the days after watching, and that’s because the final 40 minutes of the movie is so visceral and good. From the time Leatherface chainsaws Franklin in half, it is a perfect horror movie. It’s disturbing, so if you aren’t immersing yourself in the movie (meaning if you are passively watching and just looking for things to comment on), then you might not feel affected by how strange the family is. I think it holds up. But yeah, it definitely is an uneven movie.
I feel the same way about most older slashers, they all feel kinda slow to me. You should check out sleepaway camp, its a solid older slasher and the acting for some of the characters is pretty weird and funny.

Before I watch ur shit- I watched this when I was 12 and I just thought it was gross. Maybe it’s the gore that I don’t like, or think is too scary. But I am terrified of chainsaws now… & ppl chasing me…. Maybe it got to me, it’s possible.
