Fram has stepped up their production quality. They have actual dirt floors where your oil and air filters are produced now. It used to be raw sewage.

@@mikespain8655 because they ARE junk- they're made of cardboard, they come brand new with internal rust. NO NOT use Fram oil filters in your vehicles. There are videos showing the guts of these things and in comparison with other brands- absolute GARBAGE. I know of 2 people that have had catastrophic engine failures because of failed Fram oil filters.
2:00 Brother, turn down the pressure and flow rate of that paint gun. Your wasting more paint then your applying to the part.

I wonder if the Delphi oil filters you can see at 3:29 are counterfeits or if they make them for Delphi.
These are definitely not original Delphi diesel fuel filters.
So they load up those end caps with adhesive but the pleats are only joined with a couple of staples?

It is what it is! Like Britain not that long ago! They call it the Gig economy here now, but out there,….its how you put food on the table! When I was 12,(76 now), I did three paper rounds a week, did spud picking in the summer and worked in brick fields too! It helped our poor household out, it gave me very broad shoulders and I didn’t ask my parents for things they couldn’t afford! Mind you, I’m Donald Ducked now! Cheers

No wonder why everyone says fram filters are junk. It can't be a coincidence the color of paint used in this video has a striking resemblance to fram.
They need to drill some holes in the tube they use to form and weld the mesh. They wouldn't have to slide the mesh down to weld it. To make assembly easier they should have a pair of pliers with big round jaws so they can compress the mess when installing end caps. They wouldn't have to fumble with getting the mesh all within the lip.
They're not Fram, they're from a local Pakistani firm called Khyber, I Googled the part number, apparently it's for a Suzuki Samurai/Jimny and they cost around 1.50 USD

It's quite the contrary, their perfect eyesight can spot the smallest imperfections, their tiny little hands can work with great precision and accuracy to the finest details, and their small salaries insure that the money is being spent on quality materials..
I think every industrial country that has a shred of self-respect should implement a child labor mandate.

Double or triple the pleats and you would have a pretty fair filter.
With stapled ends, you can never have a good filter.

Фильтруемую бумагу обязательно нужно проклеевать, к томуже на 10:50 когда вставляется внутренний целиндр бумага просто рвется. Надеюсь мне такой фильтр не попадется.....
Им главное, чтобы ЭТО внешне выглядело как фильтр, а уж как оно будет в машине работать, для них дело десятое!

Folks its Pakistan, those poor regions dont have affordable schools and 'Madarsa' is the only option available for these children. Even though its unfortunate that these children are subjected to child labour, its still far better then learning religious extremism at Madarsas. Skills is far better option then fanaticism of desert cult.

It looks like an airfilter, but is just a piece of junk. Because the filter paper is only connected by 2 staples. the paper is totally not closed. So it willn ot filter any air. The dirt is going through the hole in the paper!
