  • Tangle along with Rick and Maria as they guide you through the second lesson in this series. Feel free to watch this video through first before going back and doing it yourself.
Creativity is a powerful tool. By tapping into your inner artist, you build confidence and strength. You increase the potential to see your world differently than you did before. You might realize that you are the painter of your own canvas, that you are the designer of your life's work, and that you are the gardener in your very own tangled garden.
In this Project Pack, we explore the tangle genus of organic tangles, particularly ones of a botanical nature. Together we will plant seeds, nurture them, and watch them grow in unexpected and beautiful ways.
Upload your work to the Zentangle Mosaic App or other social media with the hashtags #PP21 and #PP21Day02.

What a delightful tale! I must take my dear grandchildren out, under the next full moon, to search under the oak trees in the lands behind my home, for the nocturnal Hanging Paradox. Fortunately, there are two full moons in August. Wish me luck!

If someone skipped the intro, your story would fool a lot of people. Love the whimZy. Paradox is one of my favorites.

Loved it! I couldn’t resist to add some leaves, which can make an special tea. For me, this is a musical and mathematical plant. The blooming produces bachian sounds!

Like the use of pastel pencil to blend the graphite! Much richer than if you just used the tortillon.

This is delightfully fanciful and especially magical with the plant sounding tinkling bells in the breeze. My Day 1 plant 'Dancing Diva's Blooms' flowered only in moonlight. I thought that my paradox bloom will be named 'Paradoxicus Exoticus'. Thanks for your wonderful imagination and talent.

Lovely. The hanging paradox reminds me of the pattern on the inside of some types of Iris. I wonder if they are related 😅

My Inner child is loving the magical story and illustration today… thanks to both of you!! But I don’t have any oak trees, so I’ll have to look very hard to see if they are growing out here in desert-like MOses Lake, WA.

    Hello Rick and Maria
I like this zentangle pack. Is it possible to order from Switzerland? The story was fun.
    Thank you

You can order from anywhere that gets mail delivered, but keep in mind that the postage will be more than the materials. I live in Australia and order from a CZT, that’s much more economical.
