    Welcome to Zentangle Project Pack No. 18!
    Tangle along with Maria as she and Rick guide you through the 7th video in the Zentangle Project Pack No. 18 series! We are excited to explore our brand new Translucen-Z tiles in this series and we recommend watching the introduction video first. You can watch the Introduction video here: • Zentangle Project Pack...
    The Zentangle Method has a beautiful way of illuminating the artist within us. It is magical what we can do with paper, pencil, and pen. Each basic stroke connects directly to the artist, no two ever the same. Each stroke layers with others to create amazing compositions. Delicate bits of graphite and white chalk create illusions of light passing through. Or is it an illusion at all?
    Perhaps the light is truly coming through.
    Join us for our eighteenth Project Pack as we tackle uncharted Zentangle territories. This very special Project Pack welcomes a new paradigm in the Zentangle world. Using this special new tangling surface, we are eager to share techniques that allow us to explore creating layers with light and shadow.
    Can you learn to see through? Can you believe that there is something more on the other side?
    Take a deep look inside and out, and trust that the light will come through.
    Upload your work to the Zentangle Mosaic App or other social media with the hashtags #PP18, #PP18Day07 and #translucenZ and we will be featuring some of your uploads in this series newsletters!

    To anyone who can’t get/doesn’t have the project pack, like me here in England, you can buy translucent paper of various weights on Amazon very cheaply…I was amazed. So I ordered some A4 sheets for only £6, and when I get them I will measure and cut out my tile using my craft scissors to give the tile a deckle edge. Then I have collected the other material over the years so I can wait to try the Project Pack #18 ideas. Thank you to all at Zentangle HQ.

    This is my favorite of all your videos. I loved the tone of the conversation and the peek into your family and your history of making beautiful art. I learned a lot. This is a treasure. Thank you.

    This is the most beautiful project of recent memory. I’m obsessed with how the mucas make their meta pattern. When I draw I zone out on tiny spots and I would worry that some parts of this might just look like boring stripes but that doesn’t happen at all. Their graceful art nouveau quality only increases. Bravo!

    Having no translucent paper, I drew each end in brown, the "translucent" part in Yellow Ochre.

    Got the translucent paper from Amazon yesterday and it’s just perfect. It was ONLY £6.55 ($7.74) for 15 sheets of A4. SO I’m going to work on this tile today having watched it twice. If you want any further info leave a question in your comment/reply.

    How do you spell the nam of the paper? Zelum??

    • @patytrico
      @patytrico ปีที่แล้ว

      I think is Vellum, the same you use to make (Vellum) Spanish Cards, because the paper lends you transparency and you cand engraved it

      Vellum :)

      @@sheila6122 Someone said earlier they were using a heavier weight tracing paper and that the heavier weight didn't curl, which was my concern for tracing paper.
