Welcome to Zentangle Project Pack No. 16 and the 2021 Twelve Days of Zentangle series!
Tangle along with Maria as she and Rick guide you through the 1st lesson in the Project Pack No. 16 series.
You can view the introduction video to this series here: • Zentangle Project Pack...
It has become an annual Zentangle tradition for us to celebrate the holiday season with a series we call The Twelve Days of Zentangle. For twelve consecutive days, we will deliver daily tangling lessons, guiding you through the steps to create festive tangled works of art that are all part of the same theme.
This Zentangle series offers us a moment to pause and reflect on the past year. As the year unfolded, we hope you were able to lean on your Zentangle practice and focus on the beautiful things that came through. Together we will in-crease our skills while navigating this part of our journey one stroke at a time. In this year-end series, we will be looking closely between the layers and folds of our Zentangle practice. As we score some new tools for our tangling toolbox, we will dig into some creative, tangled ways to celebrate and illuminate your Zentangle art. We will work with dimensionality and play with illusions.
Upload your work to the Zentangle Mosaic App or other social media with the hashtag #PP16Day01 and #12DaysofZentangle2021

Interesting. I didn't know there was a name to this. Its something I've done since I was a young child and my gramps started me doodling wayang kulit figures which he would then make for me to play with. It started me doodling everything in sight... Including my school books. 😅Ok, I'm going to go back to doing that now. Thanks for the inspiration

Since I was a preteen, I’ve been drawing a form of these zentangles, without knowing that word. I’m thrilled to see this art so widely celebrated.

Mhmmhm. Delicious technique. I like that it appears folk-sy and what's again the special suede name that you get on the background of your work desk? I think I can get the black one easily but not with the ochre color though, where you can doodle onto.

They are parted But they fit to each other.

You can hear many artists talk about the flow… it is so amazing… 😍 athletes, singers, dancers, arts and creative endeavors bring us closer to the Creator because it literally loves evolution and making new things! Why the heck do you think we feel so driven to make new stuff? Hahaha

I would have gotten total A's in my art class in high school if this was a thing. No one told me that abstract could also be my doodles.
